Is this one type of god gear ive seen crimson gear, Koenig gear but never anythin g for the whitemages is there some type of gear for whm of this stature?

This isn't god gear, which is useable immediately, like Kirin's Osode, Byakko's Haidate, etc. This is made using an abjuration to uncurse a piece of armor. The abjurations drop from certain HNMs and gods.
WHM can use the Aquarian Abjurations which uncurse pieces into Zenith Gear. The head and legs are good for whm, body is ok. The hands are really suited for BLM, maybe RDM too for bursts.

My LS leader has Full Koeing gear and I'd like to put to rest this whole big argument.
A PLD with Full AF or Adaman will hold hate BETTER then someone with Full Koeing in an exp PT. On a HNM where it can take up to 3 hours to kill a PLD with Full Koeing with Hold Hate FAR better then any other pld with any other type of armor.
Here's the facts:
Squre Enix said that CHR does not effect Provoke and other job ability's. What it does effect is the time it takes for that hate to ware off. In an exp pt where fights are very short there isnt enough time to build up enough hate.
So, After 10 Mins of Voke Flash and JA's, a PLD with +60 CHR will have build up alot of hate, a BLM can build up alot of hate but that will dispers faster and won't stack as much.
So in conclution, CHR Effects Emnity reduction time, it does not how ever effect how much Emnity you will receive from any action you perform.

THEY ARE NOT BEING TRICKY. THEY ARE NOT BEING EVASIVE. THEY ARE TELLING US THAT CHR ONLY AFFECTS CHARM, SONGS AND CERTAIN WS'.
This is so incredibly frustrating. If I were an SE rep I would go (Ballista) on everyone claiming otherwise. Is it possible your tank had so much hate after 3 hours because he was producing three hours worth of tank-caliber hate?

i can tell you for a FACT that CHR does effect hate/ or hate generated by Provoke, if you have ever used a Jaco-O-Lantern (Acc+10, Eva+10, CHR-10) while tanking you will know what i'm talking about.
As a war/nin in a pt and another war/nin (basically with similar gear) the one that doesnt have CHR-10 will end up tanking b/c provoke will not generate enough hate.

Enmity doesn't pool, it flows. As time passes, enmity from any action that created it fades.
What's little known, is a mob doing damage to the hated person actually causes this to happen even faster. So ninja who block all of a mob's attacks kind of "stop up" the flow of enmity as the fight continues, this is pillar of how ninja are even able to tank at all.

Dude, for the last time...CHR does NOT have any affect in Provoke, Hate, Enmimity, Aggro, WHATEVER! It's just there.
I would venture to say that you are the uneducated one. CHR has a direct effect on enmity and its duration.

How about this? CHR just means to a PLD that they look good in it. ;p You know, Charisma is just a way of saying "You look good". Saying that a Holy-ish kind of figure in nice shiny armor would look "pretty" to me. You like how that person looks, especially going for a PLD AF, they look good in it.
How do you obtain the whole set?

Why are people continuing to argue that CHR adds enmity? It doesn't. It has been officially announced by Square several times. CHR is for brds and bsts, and it helps with the intimidation rate of the various 'circle' job abilities.

You realize that the koenig armors have CHR+, which enchance provoke, right? With full koenig one will have 60+ Charisma.
Yes, Valor is more useful for anything else not HNM, but koenig is basically designed for this. A lot of HNMs are kited anyway, so the pld's not going to melee to keep hate in addition.

I just wanted to point out that the STR drop isn't that big a deal, if a PLD relies on attack power to keep aggro... I dont wanna sound rude but that makes for a pretty horrible PLD... the counterbalance for the STR drop is in the CHR, which really helps you keep aggro, its not just for BRDs and BSTs... It helps give more 'umph' to your maintaining of enmity. A BRD/WAR w/ its high CHR could prob pull a mob off a main WAR with a voke, unless its the maube 3rd voke... either way, the STR is counterbalanced by the CHR, id rather have CHR+ than STR+ anyway, i agree w/ Ixi, let the BLM do the dmg...

this is no doubt a very good armor for a PLD to have.....I myself still dont know how to aquire it..but I believe that it isnt the best EXP gear du to the fact that it has no enmity boost and dealing minumal DMG isnt gonna get hate....nevertheless I would like to add it to my collection because it is very useful......but I doubt i would exp in it if other gear was available
how can i get my hands on this, its rare/ex so i cant buy it. is it dropped, quested. Im guessing Dynamis

OH SWEET MOTHER OF GOD I WANT THIS!!!! Seen the full set in a screan its absoultly hot. to bad with the total set your vit jumps like 80 but every other melee stat drops about the same..sure would miss hitting for more then 12, oh and actually hitting due to the lack of dex! In my mind as a PLD..its so worth it!

The -STR doesnt matter, one of the abjurational swords does damage depending on your how high your HP is, not depending on STR. Its the DEX that sucks and im sure theres a loop hole about it somewhere. And you get it by un-cursing the matching cursed gear, you have to get certain kinds of abjurations for each piece. HNMs drop the abjurations (Fafnir, King Behemoth ect.). For the record the Valor set is not PLD Relic, its PLD AF2, differance.
My mistake, the sword I was talking about is a PLD/RDM Relic sword

Relic and AF2 are the same thing, though the weapons are the only things that are actually ever named "Relic" (example: Relic Sword, Relic Scythe, etc.), but the armor is still Relic.
armor isnt relic, it's AF2. The weapons are relic though.

A warrior wouldn't want this armor because of debuffs on STR and DEX. So, PLD will get priority.
This armor is from removing curse from cursed armor. You need to get an item 'Abjurations' from killing HNMs such as Fafnir and King Behemoth.

I have seen a few warriors on the alexander server running around with this it looks cool but i dont like the -10 str
well...looks like the pld relic armor...but it cant be,cuz its for warrior too.
if it would be the relic armor ( maybe im wrong and it is ) it would be droped in dynamis

true, you do need enmity, but you can NOT turn this down or say that it is less practical than valor. trust me, my best friend is a lv 74 PLD whose been conniving about what his end-game armor will be for a long time.
here's what you do:
take full koenig armor, get rid of the schaller, and replace it with Aegishjalmr (enmity +7). then, get Hercules' Ring (enmity +3), and finally get a Kaiser Shield (enmity +4). 14 total enmity added and you still get +50 VIT and CHR. in my opinion better than throwing out this full set and replacing it with valor.

Talk about making the Paladin even more of a tank who can't do crap for damage! -10 to str/dex!! But that +20 VIT means you take a lot less damage. And theres that CHR bonus...
