I got this drop I dont know how long ago, probably more than 2 years ago now, and it wasn't until a few months back that I finally started upgrading it. Truth be told for quite some time I thought I'd NEVER start upgrading it. Now however, I'm close to obtaining Valhalla (60/61 100 Byne Bills) although I still need the Attestation of Righteousness. Being as I'm stuck in Iraq for the moment though, it's likely this upgrade won't happen for probably another good 6 months. XD oh well, what can you do?

They are trying to sell currency for 50k per single unit and 5mil per 100 unit. Well I guess Relic weapons will become harder to get if you plan on buying currency from these FOOLS.

I'm on Caitsith, and thanks for the new name to avoid. The economy is starting to stabilize for the first time in a long time. I'll tell everyone in my LS to avoid Ryudo.

who ever says these weapons suck r pretty dumb to think so sure relic and the others arn't that great but when u get it fully upgraded you'll be pretty damn powerful with a rare weapon skill ex: catastrophe,scourage etc but i would be willing to pay 120 million gil to own 1 of these legendery weapons and ninja's should be the most happy since they can dual weild the legend single hand weapons sword/axe well a war/pld/drk subbing ninja anyway

What are the Stats on it when its Upgraded? liek the relic Great axe thing go from DMG:1 Delay:999 to DMG:99 Delay:471 Added effect: Impirs evaison. And the Weapon Skill. (or its something like that idk 100% tho)

After looking at these posts, i see all you retards complaining about how much these weapons suck ass, and i wanna clue you in~ before you start complaining about how much this sucks ass, read up on dynamis, spend a nice long while reading the forums. Yes, this weapon sucks ass in it`s former state, but dish out 30million gil, and i`d like to see you say this sucks again

Well Relic Blade, when used with one of the three ancient currencies, susposibly, it will make it into the Ragnarok. I'm not sure which of the currencies, but I do know you can get all three from the different Dynamis's and then bring them to the different Goblins. Check under the NM part of Beastiary and look at the third NM, it should be a "n/a" level and found in Dynamis Bastok, it will tell you all about it if you click on Bayne Bill.

relic blade turns to ragnarok the strongest greatsword
To clarify: the relic blade EVENTUALLY becomes the Ragnarok.
It becomes a Gilded Blade if you give it to Switchstix (Goblin NPC just inside Castle Zvahl) along with a Griffon Leather an Adaman Ingot and a Platinum Ingot, along with 4 Montiont silverpieces. Come back the next game day and he gives you the Gilded Blade.
After that you can give him your Gilded Blade, a Claymore, a Mythril Claymore and a Darksteel Claymore, along with 16 Lungo-Nango jadeshells. Come back in one earth week and you get your Dynamis Blade.
The process for the next two stages are unclear. What you have said is exactly right, no mis-translation, the fragments for Relic weapons drop in Dynamis-Xarcabard I think, although im unsure about the attestation.
Theyre both about as rare if not rarer than AF drops which makes it EVEN more difficult to upgrade these things. If Discordian of Midgard reads this please fill in details (he's half way between Caliburn and Excalibur for the Relic Sword).

dont quote me on this...just throwing it out there. i heard that these weapons are only usable (at least, worth using aside from the old TP/delay/asuran fist glich) in dynamis. stats improve once you enter. sort of that whole "opposite physics for opposite dimension" deeleebop. but like i said its all hearsay so please confirm/shoot down this hypothesis.

does anyone know the recipes for improving any of these relic weapons yet? and which of the relics can a thf use? ^^ thats all i care about

it's the relic weapon. I heard you craft that thing with other items 5 different times and it makes the really powerful greatsword, with the extra WS attached.
