Dragon Chronicles  

I did the quest to return the chocobo to Jeuno from Windurst, and completed it in 15 minutes 48 seconds. All I received for my reward was a bunch of Gysahl Greens. :/

Can the reward of the Dragon Chronicles page only be received from between Bastok <-> San d'Oria? That's the only place I've heard the page being rewarded.

I did hear someone mention the trick with Maat, going in as a Lv.69, using the page when you're about to die and very close to leveling, getting back full HP/MP.

What I'd do is level to 70 and go to an area capped at a level lower such as a promy and die until the EXP is within 100 EXP to level. I've just completed Eco-Warrior and am going to save the page until I fight Maat to try this out. It's totally worth it to me and being a Tarutaru BLM...getting a full HP/MP recharge during the fight would go far beyond pwning...

i did my first eco war! i at first did not know what this was for. imagine my suprise when i did learn what it did! but when u repeat the quest weekly u get the gil and another page?

is it one eco a week for all the citys or can you do 3, one in each city, a week?

After i did the quest, i didn't use the dragon chronicle immediately (i wanted to use it when i leveled up my pld for more exp) I went to qufim and my party and myself were taking on clippers, we were doing well until we had a clipper cast mettalic body on himself at the beginning of the fight. I was out of MP, low on hp and I was getting desperate. I looked at my exp bar trying to figure out how much exp I would lose and I realized that I was about to level, so I told the backup tank to hold aggro for about 5 seconds so I could use a "Backup plan", the warrior provoked and I used the dragon chronicle crossing my fingers (I had 700 xp to level) and all of a sudden I was given 759 exp and I leveled up! Full HP and mp restore and I had plenty of aggro and I tanked the clipper for the rest of the fight.
There's a practical use for this thing in battle as your "Backup plan"

I wish I could've taken some sort of a screenshot to prove this to you all... but I couldn't... ; ;

I used one of these recently after a run of the Sandy Eco-war and I recieved a flat 1000 XP. That is right- I recieved a nice round four digits of XP. So now you can hold your hopes exactly 1 XP higher than you did before. I used the scroll on my 22 SMN with 450 TNL and not only did I level- but I got my XP cushion for lvl 23 taken care of. Needless to say I was one satisfied customer.

Interesting(?) note- when I leveled using this item I did not see the standard lvl up graphic or hear the classic FF victory music. I was in South San'Doria when me I used it.

hey anyone tell me why it won't let me do this quest again?..i completed it got the page at it and everyhting but still when i talk to the guy in lion springs to get the quest he says "i see you have more important things to attend too" and asked a GM he said he couldn't tell me, man i feel like a n00b..lol please help!!

I did the quest with my Lv.30MNK, and used the item on my Lv.9 NIN and got 500 exp, the lowest you can get..
Is the exp given based on fame/level/day, can someone confirm please?

question, why would you use it on a lower lv char? yes it covers a higher % of the lv you need. but exp is much harder to get at higher lvs.

There are multiple instances of this item, and you can't really tell which is which. All are rare/ex with same text, only difference is how you got it.
1) Eco-warrior (all 3): 500-999 exp
2) Escort quests (6 total?): 1000-1999 exp
3) Garrison (as many times as you want): 250-500 exp

I'm not 100% on the Garrison value one, but I've heard it's lower. Not yet earned one through it myself, so kind of heresay, but makes sense since they're much easier to get.

it says lvl to use is 4, so i can change job and still get 990 exp points for my lvl 4 job? can anyone verify this???

I used this after doing the Eco Warrior quest and got 990 experience points!

Doesn't this Item give you experience properties?
