just a suggestion, not a flame, but maybe the people with overpriced things are not actually attempting to sell the item. i know that i sometimes throw a piece of my xp equipment in my bazaar while farming. and because i don't really want my stuff to get bought i'll put it in for much more than what the auction house has it for. i do this for three reasons:

1: i don't accidentally throw my gear away (accidentally threw away my centurions pants >.<)

2: i know damn well i'm not the only one putting my kick ass gear up to show off that i have some kick ass gear... i'm sure proud i got the drops ^^

4: (or for those keeping count... 3) in case someone has an accident and does actually buy it, i can still go get another one without lossing gil.

as i said... not a flame, but just an outsider looking in's perspective
