ok to put it plainly, these gloves do in fact blow... for any of the 3 jobs that can use them. the resist paralyze would be a nice addition to a piece with already good attributes, but it is defiantely nothing to make you specifically want this gear. especially since any mob with a high enough enfeebling skill to paralyze you will still paralyze you anyway, and in parties at 73, even sub whm jobs can paralyna you right away, and if you soloing you might want to use sub whm anyway which can remedy that effect anyway. anyway this sucks imo, and as a 75nin would not be caught dead wearing this, even if given to me. O-kotes and AF+1 gloves ftw^^

on some servers you have to pay millions of gil for the cursed kote

acc+4 is crap on the hand slot for these jobs. these are the jobs that get o kotes (and now the rare/ex version too), the xolotl gloves, even noritsune kote...all for a cheaper price tag than the cursed kote that make these. resist paralyze never kicks in on anything that matters, even 10% wouldn't be often enough to make up for the total suck on these gloves. and the -hp hardly hurts but it's definitely not helpin anyone either.

my condolences to anyone who uncurses these.

Enhancing resist paralyze is great. How many times does it kick in? Can anybody confirm? Seems great for fighting mobs with AoE paralyze. All NINs know para can be deadly if left on too long/cast at the wrong time. Also, there are many pieces of gear out there that Enhance a certain trait, and from what I have seen, you don't need to have the ability to have the trait kick in so for those of you who criticize everything, please and kindly stop. For examples of such gear, do some homework.

It is infact a peice of crap, but resist paralyze has affect on those jobs, idiots.

They arent going to put gloves with a ******* DRK only job trait on them, anybody can be resisted to somthing.

RESIST PARALYZE is a DARK NIGHT ABILITY
why if it dosent give u the ability, would it ENHANCE IT. my god >.< dark nights cant use it. and this is SE THEY ARENT stupid..
if u belive it dosent give u the effect, uve never held INDRA KATARS. wich GIVES tripple attack +1%. well monks dont have tripple attack, but i hold them and ive seen it happen... i dont mean to fly off the handle but comon, be smarter than this.....

Actually, is says "Enhances" so that probably is what it does. So either sub DRK or eat food which gives resist paralysis for the enhancement. Otherwise, you don't get a benefit from this.

The +1% Triple Attack you are talking about is just that. Take your precentage of Triple Attack and add 1%. Thus, a Monk would have a Triple Attack approximately 1% of his hits with the Indiras.

sorry guys but ehs' right. hav eyou ever used any equips or eaten any food with "enhance such-and-suh killer effect" it GIVES that killer effect if you don't already have. it's been tested a bazillion times. MOST (as in nearly all) equips with "enhance something" will give you that effect if you don't already ahve it.

although there ar ea few excpetions....

Quite possibly the most intelligence lowering thing Ive heard in a long ... long time, +haste does affect you .. mainly in spell timers and weapon attack speed , Example War/nin lvl 39 jsuty gains access to blitz ring, war/nin equips casts utsusemi, notices that the recast time for utsu is now 29 seconds instead of 30 ..... war/nin looks at ring wondering how this could be since "+haste doest affect you unless haste is on you"

Not seeing how these two think this armor is crap. This is pretty good in my opinion. As a MNK or SAM, you're not meant to take hits, that's what a PLD is for. So the -HP is fine. You are there for damage dealing. So the +ACC is a must have. I can understand how the -HP would effect a NIN tank, but that's what Utsusemi is for. A good NIN tank isn't supposed to be getting hit all that much, if at all.

well in comparison for a mnk .. it is kinda crappy in the respct of at 70 most have Optical Hat, Life Belt and Scorpion Harnes. After all that Acc+4 realy is a drop in the bucket. Besides the Ochiudos Kites or Melee Gloves far excede these in usefulnes. Acc+4 is nice... but Atk+16-20 is much more desirable at lvl 70 for mnk.

Also to get the Abjuration and then the cursed armor is too much a pain in the **** to warant another +4 acc to ur already equiped +30 acc.

unless they have hidden stats Shuras seems to be the worst uncursed armor set. Come on it's lvl 73 gear. Look at the Hectacomb and you will cry.

I looked at the hecatomb and almost cried because of the slow +13% on the body piece. The whole set would cause you to be slowed by about 50%, and that, IMO, isn't worth the extra stats.

Shura only gives -HP, so it's not good for tanks, but it's hardly a bother for MNKs because we have so much already.
