I don't think harnesses look that bad. Subligar is repulsive on elvaan males, but the harness is a-ok in my book. I'm picking these up at 21 for mnk and wearing it with my mrc. pants or whatever it is I have right now.. I'm just tired of the doo-doo brown gi.

Beetle subligar doesn't look that bad, actually. Your legs are covered, so you don't look like you're fighting in your underwear.
But if you're that concerned, you should've made a female character. They look great in subligars. ^_^
And I still say tarus look badass no matter what equipment you're wearing.

You can get your gil back from AH if u buy Beetle Armor from AH.... So why not just buy it and sell it in 3 levels? Makes it alot easier to level also with the added defense for those 3 levels. My 2 cents worth....

Personally, I'm going to wait for the chainmail. I usually update armor as often as possible (ever 3 levels or so), but I too have run out of gil. ~_~ The wait for chainmail will give you enough time to gather up some gil too. And though it may not matter to other, I don't like the looks of harnesses, especially with a subligar. ^_^
Ive had a look at the types of armors i can expect to use and the two that pop up are beetle or chain. Seeing as beetle is for 21 i would buy that..but then theres the small problem that chainmail will be available in just three levels and is much better. BUT IT COSTS TOO MUCH, for a constantly moneyless person like me. Should i maybe get beetle, then wait til 27 for the other armor? or get chain mail so it will give good money back for centurion armor?

Not sure about weapons Dealer in Rabao, however you can buy it in Khazam from the armor or general goods shop
