he did. but so did i... and it threw us off... so then i put on mine, and we both died and lost the same xp...

now that i think about it. we've tested our mog houses many times before. and while we were lvling drk, and pld, we took our beds out, and he still lost less than me.. and i just today realized he wore his yukata... i think someone should do a formal experiment.. think i might with my mnk...
exp loss?

hmm... i was lvling rng with my cuz, and they 'were in perfect sync from lvl1. we managed to sync our mog houses enough that the beds wouldn't throw us off. we know this from having died in other jobs while not losing sync. well, he was wearing his yukata, and i was wearing a robe. we died, and he lost less xp than i did... so i put mine on, and the next time we died it didn't thow us off anymore...

looks like they might lower xp loss. anyone have anymore info on this?

this item is a SPECIAL EVENT item that can only be found by joining in the SPECIAL EVENT.

This item can not be said for sure that it will be used later on but to have it is mostly just the fact that well you have it.

You probably but not sure can get it again this summer for the SPECIAL EVENT.

Seeing as how they did the easter egg hunt again they probably will do this one again as well,

Have Fun

Unfortunately, you are out of luck. This was only obtainable during Summerfest which is obviously over, and its also Rare/Exclusive meaning you can only have one, and it cannot be traded, so you nobody can give you there old worn out Yukata. :)

well it was with the moogle quest
u do the moogle quest once with a partner,
then to get the Lord's Yukuta, you do the quest with 4 people from a different race and gender
head down to a lake
with an NPC sitting by the lake talking about how you have to meld with the goldfish or something wierd like that
you get a goldfish bowl and buy some scoops, then equip them
to use it just type /fish
if u catch a goldfish, trade all of them to the NPC
he will give u years of fortune
if u get a certain amount of years u can get items
the surprise box is STUPID
the thing i got was colored drops
sell for 5k each
they are food
well anyway
its over with now

yeah but what's the point of keeping it? it just takes up space and is pretty much worthless. they shouldn't have made it EX so it could be sold/purchased/traded later on if needed.

a wise man once said "not all information can be seen"

basicly, just cuz its EX, doesnt mean you cant trade to a NPC.
theres other flags that can be set on items.
examples: lufet lake salt, orcish axe
(you can even sell the axe, ~150gil)

Hmmm, for the sake of saving space, can I throw this one away if I already have the upgraded/HQ version (Lord's/Lady's Yukata)? Or will I need it later on for a future summer festival event?

IMO, its safe to toss the regular one,
if you have the HQ one (lord/lady)

you must be wearing *AH* yukata to do any of the moogle "scare trips".
which they have REadded, since they didnt let people know they were pulling it.

also.. it's the lord's yukata that improves goldfish scooping.. not the onoko someone got it backwards
