I just got my set on the Odin server. Prices vary between:
Head 150-500k (common in bazaars, mostly seen for 300k) Body 200-1200k (uncommon in bazaars, mostly seen for 1000k) Hands 400-1400k (rare in bazaars, mostly seen for 1000k) Legs 100-600k (rare in bazaars, mostly seen for 200k) Feet 70-500k (common in bazaars, mostly seen for 100k)
I just got one today on midgard for 900k. They don't come about often (or I'm not looking hard enough), even rarer in bazaars. I think they would get 800k without question, and if there's people actually shouting for them, I think they can get up to 1mil.
The other parts:
Head - 300k-800k, plenty of bazaars with them, check your local Rolanberry bazaar lane lol Hands - 500k-900k, no idea why they are worth so much, easily obtainable from BC20s Feet - 50k-150k, relatively cheap and common Legs - 50k-200k, relatively cheap but a bit less common than feet in my experience.
I had gathered all 5 parts now over about 4 months. Total cost: body (900k), hands (free), head (600k, ripped off ;;), legs and feat (110k) = 1.6mil
With the prices of big ticket items nowadays, just go do some BC40s or BC60s and you can easily get enough gils to buy the head and body, the rest are easily obtainable through BCs or garrison, or are cheap enough to afford just by good old farming.
But I cant get it to send any of you a message and I shall not post strategy so sa to have other people on my server bring my price down! Don't scoff this game is everyone for himself and you know it! anyway.. if you send me a message I'll tell you how to beat it, its quite simple. I'm on Bismarck though...

Without the opposite of that which one is, that which one is cannot be. That's why there's Tanks and DD's, and there Warriors and there's... Paladin. ROFL And so I am Warrior! Like I always say, just hit em.
The reason is, this now drops from the dropping like flys BCNM 30. That's rather popular, as it drops Emperor hairpins. So, put two and two together, since lots of people want that pin, they've also got lots of these now.

Quote: ------------------------------------------------- Hey man, I spent 31 lvs as a whm/war before switching to a drk/war. I never had any problems with mp, and i could contribute to melee better than most melee jobs (with a hammer anyway). As long as I had a good tank then there are no problems (but then again, I always have good tanks, inferior players get the boot from my parties.) -------------------------------------------------
1. Food up. Rdms use rollanberry pie, Mnk uses boiled crab. Trade orb and enter.
2. /Whm casts Barwatera & Protectra. Rdms use enthunder and drops yag drink. Mnk chugs selbina milk.
3. Mnk provokes Heavy Metal and uses hundred fists. /Nin casts blind, slow, & paralyze then attacks Heavy Metal. /Whm cures Mnk and attacks Heavy Metal.
4. Keep hacking away and rdms keep Mnk cured. All crabs like to spam Wateraga so keep barwater up. Don't worry about offensive magic as it does no good.
5. Proceed to metal crab 1 then metal crab 2. Follow steps above remembering to debuff.
6. Rdms drop Hi-Ethers as needed and mnk uses hyper potion/x-potion if things get a bit rough.
Occasionally, Heavy Metal uses drain which restores his health. Rarely, he will spam it. Be prepared to run or die if it starts chainspelling drain.
We got total of: 2x Platoon dagger 1x Platoon Cesti 1x Platoon Scythe 2x Mannequin Body
First time was 3:50, second time was 3:10 Third fight - next day - 2 minutes, 30seconds

There is a lot of confusion as to where to obtain one of these. Is it one of the two BCNM quests Phantaskippy listed (I don't know where to go to try those two)? Is it a level 20 or 30 BCNM that drops them? Anyways, if anyone wants to sell one on Bahamut, let me know.
I've seen Summoners do a fairly strong amount of damage to the Dragons using Astral Flow, got the Dragon down to 1/4 hp....might be worth a shot, I'll see what I can do and post results...
The mannequin head is always obtained in the BCNM20 with pugils, hands in BCNM20 with leeches, and body with BCNM20 - crabs. I found excellent strategies for the leeches and pugs... but none for the crabs! anybody got a foolproof solution to beatin this BCNM easily? From all the forums, here's wat I found out so far...
1. crabs only have 25 hp, and the leader has 35 hp. 2. the most damage I've seen anybody post is 0-2 dmg. 3. You don't do 1 dmg every time, 40% is usually 0 dmg 4. their drain attack cures them roughly 15 hp making it fairly hard
so... I'm thinking 3 rdm/nin's with En-effect and daggers. Dia might help you do more dmg, but it doesn't take away. And they can heal themselves. any other suggestions before i try to find all of the mannequin pieces? I'm saving this one for last.
yea, i did the shooting fish one by sandy today, got head and body =)
