I just bought my baby for 6.75 Million gil, it had been previously sold for 28 Million but had been steadily falling over the months, had considered buying when it was at 20 million but didn't want to spend ALL my money......... so I spent ALL my money on kitting out my THF, BLM and WAR instead, sadly due to the depreciation in the Phoenix economy, the items I paid like 35 Million for since starting the game are now worth like 15 Million tops, oh well, I think I got a good deal on this and it kinda makes up for it: me having been patient and waiting for prices to drop, especially as prices have started to rise again and already the Cape is back up to 7.5 Million and is rumoured to be going up in time for the Xmas rush.
I think the lessons to be learned here are simple: if you don't ABSOLUTELY need it, wait until July/August/September and you should see prices at their lowest for the year just before the Xmas spike. I may have got lucky with the Errant cape but I lost out 20 Million on the depreciation of my other items.
Anyway, I wish you all a lot of happy Trading, make lots of money and have fun doing it!!

I'm trying to sell my Errant Cape on the Shiva server, and I would like to know about how much one would go for. I was thinking about 30-40 mil maybe even 50 mil. Anyone know about how much they go for now-a-days?

well i logged on in jeuno and saw someone selling an amity cape for 20mil. i figured what the hell so i offered wise pigaches+1 (8mil) a Hocho (9.5mil) and 12 ancient beastcoins ( about 150-170k each) and the guy said ok, and i had it made into a peace cape> errant cape right afterwards :)

Got mine made today!!!! No HQ though, but still, as a <impossible to gauge> <tarutaru> <white mage> gotta love the things that keep me from getting hit!! gotta love enmity minus - gear. ; ;

It's one of the two CC synths that lets you get to 100.
Best WHM Cape in the game, hands down.

I would have to disagree for the simple fact that there is a +1 version of this cape as well:

+32 MP
Emnity -6
So it has 1 more def, +2MP more, and -1 emnity more. Making it the best cape in the game for a WHM. I believe that there are more Shadow Mantles in the game than there are Mahatma Capes... and the Shadow mantle is an extremely rare drop from the Dynamis Lord!

This is better. Not to mention, your Dynamis LS is fu[/b]cked up if a WHM gets Shadow Mantle over say, a PLD.

Seems the recipe I sent in for Errant Cape got posted. HQ version of this is Mahatma Cape
Bah! They didn't include the photo I sent and I have since deleted it. It looks like a purple Cape. I'll try to find a photo again.

1) Kill Capricious Cassie (Fei'Yin) to receive Amity Cape
2) Synth Amity Cape to Peace Cape (recipe unknown)
3) Synth Peace Cape to Errant Cape (recipe unknown)

Wow, not bad at all. Clothcraft, I'd assume, along with the rest of the Errant set. Good for mages, though this one doesn't give anything but 30 MP. I would probably take this to complete the set or for Enmity -5, though the Rainbow Cape (3 INT, 3 MND, 3 CHR, 9 HP, 9 MP) would be stiff competition.

THe -5 enmity is nice, but i'd take the +3 INT and other stats anyday as a BLM. As an elvaan I can take a couple hits anyway and not worry about it. As for taru's... /shrug

The tarutaru have at least +10 int on the elvaan by that level anyways, so for them -5 emnity is a good thing. Elvaan should go with +int cape, cause they need all they can get and drawing hate isn't as much of a problem with em.
