The damage on this is now 37, the only dagger with a higher base dmg is Relic. Very nice dagger, especially since the dagger buff. Pharpe/Sirocco is amazing. I've only seen 2 drop ever, i got the second one and supposedly im the second NA on my server :D

I heard the damage on this was now 36... maybe it was 38, not entirley sure though since I do not have one for myself as of yet. Sirocco got bumped up as well... anyways good hunting to anyone/everyone. please post new damge if you see one, or aquire one.

Congrats to Mugoi on Diabolos, finally got hers after 4 weeks of camping it, now I've kinda picked up where she's left off and hunting the kotes :)

He seems hard at first but he's really not, if you can execute it properly by having 1 person zone/kite the summons be the puller the mobs will literally walk back to Xolotl and aggro people on the way. Their hate does not seem linked to Xolotl at all except on the initial aggro.
As long as the tunnel is clear you can zone, recast utsusemi run though the tunnel zone again and repeat until the fight is over usually without even taking damage.
Xolotl you can employ a couple of strategies by either kiting him or just straight up tanking him. If your going to straight up tank though have someone ready to sleep. Other than that he's really not all that strong. Anyone with utsusemi can handle him and just have someone stun the big spells. He's really more chaotic than he seems if you go in with a ton of people. If your a full alliance I really suggest kiting him or else a couple people always end up dying from charm.
Anyways I'm about 0/30 on the knife myself and my poor linkshell is really being good sports about it coming every day. I feel bad though that for a rare/ex drop it is this rare and dependant on so much help. Every day I ask my friends for continued support it kills me a little more inside to do so, my linkshell really is a great group of people. Why can't the drop rate be like joyeuse.

So there I am in Tahrongi duoing with my wife and my LS says this guy has popped. They recruit some help and i tag along, and by luck i happen to be the only THF on atm. we try to kill it once, and get owned, charmga sucks. Second try, Titan tanks much of the fight (love my smn buddy) and IT DROPS! <Perseus's Harpe> everyone passes, and omg im racing to 73. too bad im 66, now for that damn AJ he dropped Bandomusha Kote too, but our MNK was dead at the time and our nin lotted them so someone would get some use out of them. we're going back for more kote! <3 OmegaReborn, Fenrir server.

If you can get to Boneyard Gully and walk against the west wall and head south then you should come across some Scorps and 2 of the purple plants right next to each other, thats where Xolotl pops.
Got my LS to come, since we had no MP refreshers at the time we had to resort to 2 tanks zoneing in and out w/ the pets and everyone else on the NM. he want down alot easier then the pets did in my opinion. Too bad we only got B kote, oh well, gratz to our SAM. Going back again till i get it. ^^

Uh you got it all wrong. The reason why that so called person was wearing all kind of Specific Job Items. Is because its a Mannequin. You place a Mannequin and you get to dress it up XD. The mannequin can wear any type of armor or weapon.

When we 1st ran into the Xolotl HNM in AC there was a Japanese player standing by watching us, when I asked him what Xolot dropped, he said that it had dropped a crystal the previous night. So I was not expecting much.
I believe we were the 1st ones on the Bismarck server to actually get the two drops (Perseus's Harpe, Zoolater Hat).

Hmmmm... Has anyone actually seen this weapon? On another PC or the AH? Never been sold in jeuno AH on Unicorn, nor have I ever seen it on another player... The stats seem odd... If it is indeed crafted from a "regular" Harpe then it should be a higher level, right? Example: counquest items and leaping boots -> winged boots. Also i do not think I've ever seen an upgraded version of a weapon that has a higher delay than the one it was crafted from... Not too sure on that though, so please don't flame if it exists.. >< Also a damage increase with 3 points? that's alot, especially for a dagger... If someone have seen one please let me know! or even better; if you have a pic send it in! ><

um.... DOH ... its EX, cant be sold in AH, and btw i have seen it on a japanese player on siren thats got like 5 lvl 70+ jobs

Hey man, I spent 31 lvs as a whm/war before switching to a drk/war. I never had any problems with mp, and i could contribute to melee better than most melee jobs (with a hammer anyway). As long as I had a good tank then there are no problems (but then again, I always have good tanks, inferior players get the boot from my parties.)

You'd be better off with this in main and the Stylet in your off hand untill Mandau, then you'll want Mandau in main and Stylet in off hand.

the Harpe (the rare one) drops from a NM corse in attowah chasm.. a Corse is tough to a lv 75... so bring friends :D
i am of the (unwarranted and unsupported) opinion that perseus' harpe is a bonecraft synth of the harpe, perhaps an upgrade using a megalobugard horn? but i don't think anyone with a harpe would risk it breaking to test the hundred or so possible upgrade synths until they find the "your skill lvl is too low" msg..

This in off hand and Mandau would make out to be quite a thief. then again to get only the Mandau us a life times work in it self. Maybe this is droped off a lotery pop of the Harpe drop NM. maybe..maybe not, id still like to hear more info on it...Jeez this thing accually makes me want to start doing new expantion crap.
