i love the way this sword looks, shame is that it has no real bonuses if i have the money to buy this id buy a demonic sword instead, really wish they would upgrade this thing becuase if you strip away its skin and replace is with say a claymore's i can promise noone would bother with it

do you know if my npc buddy will wear the true Falx skin or another GS skin if i give him one ? for exemple i gave my npc the '2 handed GS' and it had the skin of a simple lvl 10 GS >< i just want to know 'cause Falx is quite expensive on Remora.

Is this item sold by NPCs? My NPC buddy is getting
close to Lvl. 33 and a new weapon upgrade...
In Jeuno AH it sells for 70K <Kujata>

NPC level does not mean your NPC can use a weapon of that level. There is a set order of weapon upgrades for each type of weapon you give your NPC (at times Luto tells you of course), and Falx is the 4th GSD (3rd upgrade) in sequence. You'll be able to give at a totally random level, based on your NPC's relationship with you [quests, etc] and their weapon 'skill'... not dependant on level. For instance, I just gave this thing to Luto as an upgrade with a lvl42 NPC... others in my LS haven't been able to 'til lvl50. I also happen to talk to my NPC about 10 billion times per summon =P

I tried to synth this item and it said it was beyond my craft level. I have 38 Smithing and 52 Goldsmithing. What is going on? Does the website have the level wrong? If so, what is the actual level to make this?

I bought this Great Sword and I think it was well worth the price (18k Jueno Ifrit Server). If your a Dark Knight and like being different from everyone else this is your Great Sword. The thing I like about it the most is the shape and how short it is. I will hold onto this Great Sword for a long time.

I just got this synth last night. I am a level 30 Blacksmith and level 19 Goldsmith. The guy who gives out the recipes does say Blacksmithing and Goldsmithing are needed for this synth. I was looking at prices of materials at Bastok AH and it comes to about 24k. None have ever been sold in Bastok, so I checked Jeuno. About 1 a day are being sold there for 30-32k. I'm not sure if I will attempt this, it doesn't seem like there is a huge demand for it. The picture of the item is sweet tho!
