No. What your thinking of are Hysteroanima, Psychoanima and Terroanima, which are used in promy's to keep any empty (but normally the main boss) from doing certain things.

Just a few guesses as to what this may be. Since it can be obtained with guild points (or can it?) it may be a furnishing which increases the chances of success with that particular crystal, in this case, dark. A quote from http://moogle.yappo.jp/bougu.txt.html "This partially materialized quasispirit emits a dark aura." Not sure. It could be an advanced form of a dark cluster? Just a few guesses. Hopefully they will be answered in CoP!
It is a synthed item, not a guild contract point item. In order to synthesize it you do need a contract key item (30k contract points) "Anima Synthesis".
