From my observations and recipes given by NPCs, there is no functional level cap for this since you can't make it until your a novice (level 28) and it "caps" at 22~.

OK, I've got the key item, i've got the 3 animas, i've got 3 linen cloth, and i've got an earth crystal. When i go to synth it says "synth canceled. These items cannot be synthed" is there something i have to do to activate the key item, or does any one know why it won't work? (my clothcraft level is 53)

*After posting this, i read the first post a little closer and see that it is for 3 linen threads, not clothes...sorry for a stupid post*
