the character ...actually he was a summon... one of the extra aeon =/ from FFX was Yojimbo not Yoshimitsu... Yoshimitsu was used in tekken and Soul Calibur

I'm aware of all the history behind it, but don't forget Yoshimitsu in FFX. ^^

OK... Yoshimitsu is a family name... that's why it's first and that's why there are a lot... most of the family line were very good with Katanas

okay. yoshimitsu has to be the most popular jappense name form logn ago so lots of people have it so for history pople there is over 50 yoshis.

Yoshimitsu Tanto was also one of the greatest swordsmiths of the Edo period.

Soul Calibur II? pleeeeeease. learn ur video games man. tekken has been out far longer than soul calibur has. Yoshimitsu is a character adopted from the tekken series. both video games were developed by Namco btw. i looked up the meaning of Yoshimitsu via English --> Japanese translator. it came up with divine, sweet, perfect nectar. {Hmmm...} lol no idea how they created the manja ninja fighter out of divine nectar.
