wtf! I was asked for a bone hairpin recipe and I responded 1 win crystal then a bone chip and said that was wrong!!?? O.o Is there a new recipe for this?

I try to craft as cheaply as possible, especially att he beginning stages.
I happened to have tons of wind crystals and a couple stacks of bone chips so I started a mule at the bone guild.
I found that the bone chips sold for 1K a stack on AH and the hairpin sold to NPC for 108 Gil each. So, if you do the math, you get 1296 gil back and make a little if you just farm the crystals yourself. If you buy it all you get skills and lose about 700-800 per stack - no big deal there for skillz and an instant turn around.
This is a good starting synth, easy to make at 0 with no guild support, ideal for both a starting mage (white, red or black) and someone getting started in BoneCraft, however do not sell to well on AH, put in Bazaar overnight, should shift 5 or 6 however put near an area full of new people and make reasonable price.
I made tons of money by buying Land Crab Meat of peoples bazaars. There was this one guy who kept selling them for 100 gil each. And they sell for close to 400gil to NPC.

Not exactly sure why, but for some reason these seem to sell at the auction house for less than what they would sell to a vendor for... actually if you are really bored you can find alot of things like this.
Heh I made a bunch of cash a while back buying Cornettes for 100 and trading them for 200gil and some fame. The n me and a friend cornered the market and they went up to 300 lol.
