There is a Recipie Capped at lvl 17 for Lightening Crystal + Brass Ingot. Would it be possible to skill up GS by Synthing a Brass Hairpin then desynthing it till 17?

You *could* (I'm doing that with copper right now) but desynth failure rate is pretty high and you would likely lose quite a few hairpins that way, as I have. :)

I totally hate Ellard, the hairpin is worth 259 GP, and the +1 is worth a whopping 264. Woooo. And no, this isn't the only reason I hate that guy. He's made the worst things imagineable the guild items of the day...

brass hairpin+lightning crystal does desynth into a brass ingot, i gave it a shot and pulled it off @lv17 gs <_<..

I think the formula is Lightning Crystal + Brass Hairpin = Brass Ingot Goldsmith(31)
But i'm too low to synt it... need a few people to try it and reply please.

I have seen two people makeing brass ing. with lighting crystals and bass hair pin haven't tried yet but it looks like the lighting back up the proses.

ya from what i here lighting crystals desynthesize things into there preveous form.
