Useful item for dancers
# Apr 15 2008 at 3:24 PM Rating: Default
Nice piece for Dancers and other good+ evasion classes who can't equip the Rabbit Charm.

Whoever disagreed with me doesn't know that dancers have a good evasion score.

The Justice Badge is better.

Wing Pendant: Acquired through a no-fame-required, easy-to-complete quest, Lv. 7 All Jobs, AGI+1, Wind+1, Earth+1, can't sell

Anyone who's too weak to equip a better neckpiece won't notice the extra one point in Wind and Earth. AGI+1 is basically all a low-level job gets out of this. And since you can't sell it, you can't even make a few bucks off of it when you're done with it.

Justice Badge: Acquired through a no-fame-required, easy-to-complete quest, Lv. 7 All Jobs, Def+1, MND+3, can sell

MND+3 is pretty nice for such a low-level piece of equipment, and there's even a Defense point in there. If you don't like it, you can sell it and buy it back later if you change your mind.

In short, it's AGI+1 vs. Def+1 & MND+3, and honestly, there is no comparison. The only people who should wear the Wing Pendant are those who start in San'doria and aren't high-level enough to make the trip to Windurst. Once you're able to get your mitts on a Justice Badge, drop the Wing Pendant like a bad habit.

ok, i agree that the justice badge is better for SOME jobs where mnd has a large factor in its effectiveness. But, jobs like thf and low rngs will find much more use out of 1 agi than 3 mnd. Also, i personally use a wing pendant as a lvl 11 elvaan pld. because of my naturally high mnd, i have no use for more of it, my cures are capped and more mnd will not benifit any aspect of my effectiveness as a pld. However, elvaans have a low natural agi, and as you know agi directly benifits the blocking and parrying, so i will personally take more agi than 3 mnd and 1 def, at my current lvl anyway.

I have a slight disagreement with you, but agree on everything else. While mind affects your curing capabilites, it also affects you magical resistance to spells, such as fire and blizzard. As for everything else you said, I have no problem with it.

I believe this is false information. Elemental Magic skill along with your INT is what helps your resistance to Fire and Blizzard. MND may help your resistance to certian enfeebles and Dia and Banish but not INT based black mage spells.

Do you want to know how many people would laugh at a Ninja wearing Justice Badge instead of Wing Pendant? A lot. Yes, Justice Badge might be good for WHitemages, Redmages, Low level paladins, and Summoners, but the Winged Pendant is MUCH better for Ninjas, thieves, and rangers.

good low level melee item, lousy mage item (just quest a justice badge, get a bonus to MND and some def, you can sell it for 2k when you're done with it and it's also the same level to use)

It's not really useful, but hey its good for anyone thats a low lvl. Besides, it gives you a little bit of fame so it's worth the 10 gil.

How you get it: Speak to Miageau (I think that's how you spell it) and then trade him (or someone near him, forget again)10 gil. That person will give you the Blessed Waterskin. Go to H-5 (or wherever the Cheval River is-upper area of East Ronfaure)and trade your Blessed Waterskin to the river (you can target a part of it). You'll then get the item neccesary, head back to the cathedrial and give Miageau or whoever the now filled waterskin. He will thank you, do his creepy praise to you and give you the Wing Pendent.
This item is not for another quest, if you dont need it, chuck it.
You can't sell it, it's EX (if someone didn't notice).
All in all, it's worth the 10 gil and quick trip to the river.

I don't want to drop a RareEx, but I doubt I'll ever use it. It this repeatable?
RE: Don't want to drop RareEx
# Aug 18 2004 at 10:54 PM Rating: Decent
No the quest is not repeatable. I keep the item to use it on my other jobs when lvling them up from 1. That way you dont have to buy anything else, i dont think there is anything better for the neck around lvl 7. Its not too important though.
Think of it this way, you will never see it agian =)

*Edit* for spelling

This is a good necklace for any beginner melee class, especially Thief, Ranger or Ninja, since their agility matters a lot.

yeah...but if you are in Sandy...kinda far for a newb to get to Windurst to get the Justice badge.
good newb quest
# Dec 06 2003 at 6:55 PM Rating: Default
This is great to get for an easy newb quest...however the justice badge for +3 mnd is better for blk with subjob of wht.
