i waas walking through as lv 32rng/15thf and i saw this dude.... i stoped and pondered and decided to claim him. it was a close fight what with all the links but 2 hour attck and barrage finished him..... got the whistle hurray ! first time aLthough now i had a train of 25-28 yagudo on me, so i ran and ran ...... 2 secs later i was dead but 20k better off

Seeing as its not a rare item, the drop rate of this from Vuu Puqu is much better than normal nm drops. I was gettin kahzam keys when a friend of mine killed Vuu Puqu and got the bird whistle. We lotted and I won. :)

i'm sorry for bursting bubbles but accroding to SE 2 CHR = 1 emnity... which in turn affects provoke, so chr is a good thing for a war or pld or nin...

Ran into NM while hunting for 7 knot (20 Garrison Item). What better timimg as I've been in the solo-ing mood with my 17 BST...
With Monster Signa, 2 Hope Rings, and either Noble Lady (as Im Mithrrran) or a Tav. Salad ... Ts should be no prob to charm for a decent duration of suicidal friendship ^^

I was in Giddeus yesterday fighting Votaries, Theologists,and Priests to help someone get their Kazham keys. Vuu Puqu the Beguiler pops up right next to me so I grab him with my 31MNK/15THF. He went down fast and I got the drop. Once I got back to town I checked the AH price in Windy: 6,000 gil. Nothin special but it was a nice addition to the gil and other goodies I was racking up on at the time.

well all three of u are wrong. its pretty bad that i am the one to have to tell you this. it event said it on playonline.com a while back
chr doesnt effect provoke, nor does it increase hate. what chr does do for a nin or pld is it keeps ur hate longer. just like charming a pet charm makes it charmed longer doesnt increase the chances just makes it last longer and that is why u want chr for a tank...

CHR stands for Charisma, not character. It strengthens BRD songs and BST charms ect. nothing to do with your provoke.

There's a level 24 necklace for BST, the one you get with your flag quest, the Beast Whistle. I belive it's VIT+2 CHR+2. I can't decided which I will wear at that level, I like to extra VIT a lot but I'm not sure if it's worth giving up 1 CHR for.

Bird Whistle is dropped by an NM in Giddeus at the far bottom of the map. It costs on avg 6k on Odin and is used for BST and BRD. Lv 38 and I am still using mine. Haven't seen anything better. :)
Songs of melody and joy are great but when battle goes make due haste...

CHR also helps palidan and thiefs, or so ive heard.
It's also good for Bards; high CHR helps prevent offensive songs from being resisted.
