This is a really good weapon for Corsair...specially since we need all the ranged accuracy we can get to get marksmanship up from 0 to cap at level 15 when we get our first guns...and even after that, it helps alot with the DoT ranged attacks in the parties...although judging by the stats on the knife, gilsellers probably have this NM camped constantly....

On lakshmi its only 45k. I only have 1 of em and its great for lvling marksman. Im gonna farm a bit more and get another and finally cap marksman.

camped it 60sam/30thf, waited 30 min and it popped. i killed him less than a minute and got the archer's knife. no gs or anyone there either good thing. sell for only 20k in fenrir but im keeping it anyways ^_^

Thise knife sells for 20k on the kujata server in bastok it is always out and it sells every day the price history shows yesterday then today always and i need 1 lol (keepmissin even with sharp shot).

Wow, you are an @$$ :X What's funny is you went through all the trouble and still have spelling errors yoursef. XD Like 'sentance' O.o... Also noted are 'can not' should be one word the way you're using it and also the 'BEcause'and WAY too many commas... you don't that many pauses to read 2-3 'sentances' do you?

Well last night i never checked how much one of these were worth. Looking at the stats i thought over 100k. So i went to camp it starting at 1am. Thought i could just end the night of with this drop.
So i head over and camped this thing until.. 6:10 am. I was glad i got it and i was so damn tired i couldnt see anymore. I went back to jeuno, and its only worth 15k!?! Biggest waste of my time, but oh well.

WEll dude you are right with stats like that it should be worht more...im Titan they sell for a cool 50k at most but for us RNG thats a good thing.
Sry u spent so much time campin it and got little reward.Its one of those items like "Steam Scail Mail" that sells for crap but is useful to those who buy it.
p.s. You can always craft it into a Hawkers and make some gil :P

The reason its not worth that much is cause the nm drops the knife everytime. Its only worth camping if you actually plan on usuing it. The mob pops from 1-1.5 hours, and drops everytime, why would it be worth that much?

Well from lvl 1 i had bought 2 of these knifes for my RNG. I have to say i notice a big difference in my accuracy. As a fellow RNG i say to all this is deffinently an esencial for any RNG. I have been told time and time again "Go for a Hawkers knife" and that i was cheap not to buy them. WEll im my eyes over 250k more for jsut 1 AGI and 1rng'd accuracy. Feel free to tell me what u think of my post.

Price on these have been plummetting on Diablos. 35 up for sale and I just got 2 for the price of 1 pre-patch. Currently 15k.
on my server it was 45k but sinjce update it is 25k

No... Deodorize is used when you aggro a gob, sleep it, and run away. if you just chill, they'll hunt you down. If you deodorize yourself, they wont detect your smell and wont chase.

i can confirm this is a false against Yagudo... an example would be when I was hunting for a key, linked 3 of the yags, killed two got key on second, slept the 3rd, start running cast deoderize... go out harvesting again... run around most of the map... find the chest is gone close to where the bcnm point is... start walking out then notice some kind of weird buildup on my map...
pouring down about 50+ yags from most of the map were there inc the stupid nin NM's ... i couldnt see crap and i was chuggin like hell... Trick Staff warped outta there ^^

I was level 40 with my Ranger going to complete the paladin quest, thinking I only needed sneak and camaflouge to get past the mobs. WRONG! The lizards on the way aggro by scent. I tied this 6 other times and the results was the same. The other times i used prisim powders and silent oils. So when are at a lvl when you can pull an aggro, it CAN be by scent so be careful.

And also, i am pretty sure that no mob argos by scent, they just pursue by it. And if you are doing the PLD quest this isnt the safest way to get to the Well.

there isnt a single mob anywhere that aggro's by scent... scent is used to track you down, not aggro

lol its completely untrue that no mobs aggro to scent. I was just in davoi last night with sneak and invis on and full hp, and i can guarantee that Geezards aggro to scent. liitle punk hit me, took my invis off and then abunch of orcs aggro'd. It sucked alot, but i got rdm af1 and pld flag quest done. YAY fencing degen!

Well, I wanna Help out too, Undead are technically the only things to aggro to scent because, This is the logic SE gives "Low HP aggro = Bleeding = Undead smell your blood" And that is what deoderize is used for, So Undead wont aggro when you have low HP, of course, they will still aggro to sound >.>

Did you know that if you are running from a Ram and you cast deoderize he will lose your scent? Same w/ a few Orcs that I know of.

Actually, some monsters will aggro to scent. This is how. Let's say you're running around konschtat. You started from the west side and ran to the east. The tremor ram pops around G-5 like usual. Now, when you were running around the area, you left your scent around. The tremor ram picks it up and follows the scent by tracking it all the way back to you. I've had this happen before. What a surprise it was too :P
