Shaman's Belt I've been eyeing this belt ever since I got to level 28 -- I always saw it as a more BLM-oriented Friar's Rope, which it essentially is, save the elemental bonuses. Anyways I had very little to do tonight and I decided I'd see if anyone wanted to help me camp Jolly Green. So I sat down in Lower Jeuno and began asking. About five minutes into it or so a complete stranger named Chama came up to me and traded me the Shaman's Belt for free. ^_^ I was pretty overjoyed. Chama didn't say anything; they just gave me the belt, waved, and left.
Thank you so much Chama, you don't know how much that means to me. ^_^
Anyways, this belt is very nice. I like to get my hands on as much +INT gear I can get, and this certainly helps.

I was in pashow farming Beast Blood and wacthing the nearest ballista when I saw a goobbue.
I decided to take it out to see if it would drop tree cuttings or not.
Halfway into the fight someone does a /cry emote towards me and then towards the goobbue I was fighting. But it wasnt an ordanary goobbue. It was Jolly Green.
Im a 45PLD so this was cake for me. Although i noticed he wasnt going down as fast as previous goobbues I've killed. So I knew something was up.
No drop on belt but I did get the Tree Cuttings I origanaly wanted; and a flower.
All in all pretty fun. I didnt know I was killing it until the end. Just like bloodpool vorax. Farming will do those things to you.

Just got this off of Jolly Green.
Made me nervous. I thought I was attacking a normal Goobbue, but turned out to be an NM. Felt just as easy as a normal Goobbue, so there was nothing to worry about.
The belt itself is less than impressive, I can only hope it fetches an impressive price at the auction house.

I've wanted this since I got to lvl 30, but it was 30k a few months ago. Checked the AH again at the beginning of Sept., and it was 60k. I'm on the Lakshmi server so prices are probably different everywhere else. Not worth the money.

I attacked it with about 1/3 of my health and owned it totally!! Hit it for about 120 with my lance and only took around 20 damage per hit... LOL!! SO WEAK!

Posts like this are pretty meaningless! Obviously your level makes a fight either easy or hard. Sure if you are lvl 50 and fighting a lvl 25 mob it is going to be cake. It doesn't mean that the mob is weak. If you were level 10 and attacked it, Jolly Green would be posting here on Allakhazam: "Zantury attacked me with 1/3 of my health and I totally owned him...." etc.

Killed this thing twice now, it spawns right by the Ballista NPC. I was a 51 BLM so i nuked it to half of HP and went melee with staff and killed it easily. No drop 1st time, got a Dahlia the 2nd time... dont camp it but, kill it if u see it, doesnt drop enough and the belt isnt worth that much on most servers.
I was out farming as a 29rdm with /rng for WS. Me and my friedn (37 thf/nin) saw it pop and we killed it easily. With 1/3 of its life left a water elemental links and we killed that too.
Got the belt, the Dahila, and 3 Water Clusters from the elemeantal.

i was camping goobs and this thing pops i remember its an NM i see this drk standing there i say wanna double team it we're both lvl 34 i thought he was gonna be tough so we both healed up and he attacked for 108 used souleater and does 154 we kill it log says You Find A Dahila on the Jolly Green i was like WTF is a dahila? DRK says its worth 6 gil ><

I was farming Thread Leeches and I saw what I thought was a Goobbue. I needed tree cutting to plant. :p Anyway, I saw that it was Jolly Green so I casted dia on him with my 42 RDM/20 THF and my hp was already yellow. I did Phalanx, Stoneskin, Regen, Refresh, Enfire. Yeah RDM uses a lot of MP to fight ^^. He was easy and I got the Shaman's belt and a dahila. No tree cutting but who cares :p
