I was planning on getting a bloodbead amulet for my MNK friend as a christmas gift. I really didn't feel like buying it >_> so i decided to camp vorax. In that northwestern region of the map, there were leeches everywhere. I don't see why everyone is having a problem with these, I didn't bother killing them, since i didn't even have TH.

Any THF out there w/ TH2 farm the Thread Leeches in PAshow Marshlands on regular basis? I know the drops w/ TH1 can be difficult to obtain from these, specially if you want stacks and stacks to make eyeball soup like in my case. Anyways, how good are the drops w/ TH2?

I only have TH1 and the drop on this was pretty low. The area is camped by gil sellers which makes it even more difficult. A friend and I camped these for 5 hours and made one stack, only one of us had TH. It would be nice if some other leeches dropped this item.
being the newb in stuff like this that i am, I was farming gobbues as a 31 monk/thf for cuttings, and killed some leeches in hopes that they would drop a ruby for me, and i recieved 2-3 vials of beastman blood. Thinking that they were like fiend blood, i just threw them out O.o...

Well. it might just be me, but I can hardly get these to drop at all... even with TH2 and a millionaires desk i only got one blood from the first leech i killed when i came there to farm, but none of the 30 or so following it... So i gave up... Hope that helped! Good luck! ^^
You just need to know where to hunt. I farmed a Stack and a half of blood in about 3hrs as a 54thf/27rng, I camped out in Vorax's spawn area. Best place be since you can get stacks of silk there too. sometimes there are campers, but if you are fast enough you can claim a ton of the leeches/crawlers, even an nm.
Just go up as thf (w/TH2)/war (for voke if competition). Other hunters will soon give up. Drop rate even for a 68 thf is nothing to write home about, but 1 to 1.5 stacks per hour if nobody else is there... 18/65 on Bloodpool, nice bonus.

make sure u do this quest on ur own. when i first got the game, i had a pc player say that he was having trouble with the quest and asked if i could do it for him and give him the scroll. i did it without question thinking i was doing a good deed. I soon realized that he had duped me for the quest.

I have no idea what Piran's problem is/was. I didn't see any mention that the person would "walk off with something worth 70x that with no work on your part?" In any event, no reason to go off like that. Piran would seem to be the jerk here. Over-reaction at the least.

What does your fame level have to be in order to do the quest for "Drain", anyone know? Thanks in adavance.

about what will a stack of this run ya?
On Bismarck about 17k or so last time i checked
People are saying that you can buy this item, but I checked the Sandy AH on ragnarok top to bottom and couldn't find any Beastmen's Blood. And the leeches in the marshes haven't been dropping any either ><;

You can most definitely buy this blood. I bought mine when I did the quest.
Ironically, it can be found at the AH under Others->Beast Made. Sort of odd if you think about it, although I guess the blood is technically made by beastmen. Maybe there are evil beastman bloodbanks that harvest blood from their fellow creatures and sell it to PCs...
Anyhow, you can sort by name to make it easier to find (without being sorted, the order of the AH seems a bit... random. Possibly sorted by frequency of purchase?)
