I used halcy rod and worm lure, sinking minnow and minnow (I lost some when I got "bad feeling" -> line broke). I did not break a single rod or try to pull in any !!! as they are items that will break the rod. Fished here about four hours at crystal pond (j-9) jug. forest and had to zone a couple times for fatigue reasons. Occassionaly I would get about 9 "no catch" statements in a row but this was a good skill up fish from 32-35 as it is the only fish you catch with this combo here. I counted catches and went no more than 14 without a skill-up and sometimes back to back. In the end I got ~9 stax of fish and skilled 3 lvls. (108 fish / 30 skills = a skill ~ every 4 fish. Of course this doesn't account for .2's, just an average.).
