Darksteel Scales are expensive to make and dont ever sell. The only thing that can be crafted from them that i know of is Hachiman Domaru.

at lv 57 smithing still get FAST skill up (DRK sheet --> scale)

Edit: Seems like it is only good up to lv 58. AT lv59 I don't get any skill up ..

where there scale, there is Scalemail, this could be an interesting Def based armor for DRG... but its hard to beat the Drachen Mail for style!

still, im looking forward to see what it gonna look like (if there is even one).

Darksteel scales? wow, lol this sounds like it could be the base for some wicked scale mail. there are adaman scales too but still no recipe for them. Hmmm... maybe someone should try a recipe similar to the other scale mail armor with them and tell me what they get(can only make iron and bronze scale mail myself :/)

Recipe is:
leather vest(couir coulli?)
sheep leather(maybe some other high level leather)
4x ____ scales
cotton thread.
