Oh yeah, almost forgot, these babies are running for about 15k on Valefor -.- So buyer beware, it seems to have about a 30% chance failure rate than most of your masks, but it's still a lot of money to blow if you don't get a HQ or a break.
you can also desynth these with leathercraft. wind crystal + bugbear mask ive gotten from it so far. regular desynth- 2-3 ram leathers hq desynth 3-4 ram leathers hq desynth 1 spool gold thread nothing else yet though.. i'll keep trying more to see what other items you can get ^^ but gold thread was something nice to see :) not too sure what the lvl is on the desynth though, but i would guess at least 50 maybe more for the leather desynth.
Moblin/bugbear gear seems to have a lower failure rate on desynths too. Even with 70 Alchemy I fail on goblin masks 75% of the time and that's with favorable conditions (New Moon/Darksday). The moblin gear is more like 30% failure rate. Guess Square hasn't gotten around to nerfing them yet.

This, like other masks, can be desynth'd into Glass Fiber using Lightning crystals. I've only tried 1 so far; broke w/o loss on the first try, and got a normal desynth on the second try. The normal desynth for these is 4 glass fiber; I suspect that HQ1 is 8, HQ2 is 10, and HQ3 is 12. I'll have to try more exeriments with them to be sure, though their high AH price (2k each on Ragnarok, compared to 500 each for goblin/moblin masks) makes me a little hesitant to do so.
