San d'Orians are known for their style and the Fleuret type swords are the proof. This is the beginner Fleuret made of Steel and Silver and is intended for beginner Fencers of San d'Oria.

If Final Fantasy XI was an offline game with the same storyline (up until Chains of Promathia), it would've been one of the greatest RPGs ever made.
On the Titan Server, I came across something strange. I wanted to get a Fleuret for my RDM in the 30s, because my character, rp-wise, was a fan of the Fencer job, in FF terms. I got one for about 20k in Jeuno at one time, and at a later date, I found a Fleuret +1 for the same price. Note to RDMs, Obviously a Centurion Sword has all the abilities and such, but make sure you look at this weapon before buying. Sometimes you may find that this weapon, even the high-quality is more affordable, because it isn't used as often, if not, at all. I used the sword and the +1 all throughout Garlaige Citadel. *Might want to check out that price the NPC has it for too, might find even THAT price more affordable! :D

Yeah dont get this unless your doing it for style, and generally weapons shouldn't be about style... they should focus on stats. Go for the centurion sword, bonus are always preferable over looks.
...i hope i catch you in balista with this equiped :D
I've seen lots of you asking what weapon to use as a 30 red mage, and I myself am level 32rdm/12nin, so honestly, use the Centurion's Sword. It has bonuses to both accuracy and attack, and I've bought a Broadsword +1 for use in my main weapon slot, but noticed that it hit lower than the Centurion's sword in my offhand, so I switched back. The fleuret looks wicked, but all in all, it's a friggin toad-sticker.
i too am a rdm, i was looking for the flueret for 3 weeks, making numerous trips back and forth checking if it was in stock, eventualy i found it in bastok AH for 5k . . . what a bargain . . . the sword itself is a must have for a lvl 30 rdm and can be used till lvl 37 . . . hope this helps . . .

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move. http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/profile.xml?20442 Maxanlax, DRK 75 on Unicorn Smithing: 89+1 Leathercraft: 58 Goldsmithing: 42 Clothcraft : 60 Alchemy: 25 Woodworking: 46
Ingrediants are about 11k total and the price injeuno ah is 10k which i dont see is worth the risk to make and lose 11k.. i tried this synth 3 times and failed twice, and now im 20k poorer
It is unusually difficult to obtain this weapon. I waited for Sandy to be in first, and it was for a few weeks, but still no flueret. By some miracle of God I managed to find it.
As far as I know, fame does not matter as far as item selection goes, it just lowers the prices. What does matter as to NPC selection variety is how that nation is doing in the coquest results. Check back in that shop when San d'Oria is winning the conquest.
