do none of you read [GM]Dave? GM's have alternate accounts that they play on without all the GM perks. Or if you don't want to believe the blog, then reread the summit reports again. Look for the line that says the GMs have accounts and play at home.
This item or any of the set are obviously made-up. Simply because it doesn't state "GM only" in the description. ALL GM equipment has this notation. This goes for all other "Auto collection" items.
Quite a few auto-collection items are actually in the game. :P Auto-Collection is just a program that scans the game's files, so even if we can't actually get it in-game, the files for it are on our systems, and not just made up.
GM's cannot level, synth, fish or do anything while they are on their Game Master account. They have their own server and only come when someone is in trouble(i.e. falling under the floorboards of Kazham). They have a separate account which they can play and level like normal people. If they put gil items or do anything from their GM account to make their home account better then they will lose their job. They only have the gear to kill things if like they won't move from the zone(sometimes), or maybe they just don't want to be naked I dunno XD
GMs dont play the game. My friend is a GM on Everquest. He got a high lvl char log on as. He can;t play with the char, he cant talk to friends, he has to work. And to be a GM u need to have played the game first><
Why can't they use normal rods? Do they allways get fish with this one? Where's the fun in that? I wanted to be a GM before, but now I'm confused about all the weird stuff they do...
GM's do not play. The equipment is really only to fill out the equipment screen. I've never seen them have the rod/bait combo, I've always seen the bow/arrow combo as seen here: http://gmpictures.freeservers.com/photo.html
They do not level, fight, play, fish, synth, anything. They are there to do a job, like any customer service job.
If GMs aren't supposed to be "Playing" the game, why do they have items like these? I don't see how a GM could use it for justice, or to settle any problems. :P
well, if a fish is causing problems, and needs to be removed from the pond, how else would you expect to do it? their armor doesn't look very water resistant if you ask me, and I don;t think scuba has been invented in vana'diel =P
Speaking of GMs i like how they didnt have to work for anythin they have in the game. They got to choose one character to start at lvl 75, that is crap. How can they settle problems when they havent really played the game.
This has got to be one of the most moronic posts I have seen on here. Do you think they would have a GAME MASTER who helps people with the game... not have any background with characters? You, sir, are an idiot...
