I notice when using this weapon to farm ( i tend to like the look of it due to the resemblance with Bone Knife) i cant seem to get any drop keep in mind i am a THF19
so i have Treasure Hunter, but when i switch to Dagger+1 i get drops, can anyone confirm that it in fact stops you from getting item drops or just or just my imagination.

Why must you all flame one another w/ such horrible grammer and spelling? It is a quest Dagger, the end. No need to flame a peice of equipment in a game for being lame. If you don't like it, drop it/sell it and get on w/ your life.

perhaps this is for a quesst or Windy mission... it DOES suck for a lvl 19 dagger. well.. if oyu dont have the mision, and you ahve a better weapon, try selling it to an NPC in a city where you have the highest fame... see how much it's worth. other than that lame assed ranting... well... good luck all!!

The Dagger isnt junk for the noobs out Their. This so called weak weapon is FAME, like it or not save it. soon after you noobs may gain a quick FAME POINT. rather then sell this one step to Norg *hint hint* you can graba nice ninja spell that will give you the most yummy GIL you have ever tasted IFRIT server the item is sold for a wooping 300k+ with that nice 300k you can buy a BETTER WEAPON OR A BETTER BRAIN. I realize you guys need constant posts to flame to make sure you feel superior to others, but if you look into detail at what he is saying, he means 1. You possibly get Norg fame for doing this quest. 2. That Norg fame helps to achieve Utsusemi:Ichi, which is what he is implying sells for 300K, without mentioning it's name.
And yes Mgirardi, Norg fame is linked into Windurst fame quests. (Such as the quest Mihgo's Amigo, which is what I used to achieve enough fame to start the Utsusemi:Ichi quest. It gives both Windurst and Norg fame) It might not give the same as windurst fame, but it grants a tiny percentage.

Some claim that it raises Norg fame, but actually lowers Windy fame (for the illegal activity). hmmm did they changes its name? when i first got it, it was only called burnite shell unless i overlooked the stone part which i doubt...
It's not a typo or name change...in your Inventory, it'll only say Burnite Shell, but when you highlight it and look at the info box it says burnite shell stone.

yeah I think you're right. I got it a few months ago, and I'm almost positive it was just Burnite Shell, but I guess people were confused to what the purpose of it was since the quest asked for a "stone" I believe. So I'm assuming they decided to add in the word 'stone'.
