you can also gain cp by trading in stacks of crystals to the gaurd when you're close to your rank meter being full. ths will convert all extra traded crystals at the time to cp. Also, you gain cp with crystals you recieve during battle.
Here's the reason: You get 1 CP for every 10 EXP you gain in battle with Signet (with a bonus in regions under rival control). So, that means that when you buy a Scroll of Instant Warp, you're spending up to 7,500 EXP of work on just one Warp. On the other hand, if you bloodport, you lose just 1/10 of your levelup EXP. So, let's say you're lv 60. You can either bloodport for around 1500 EXP or so, or you can Instant Warp for 7500 EXP. I choose bloodporting. >.>

That's bass-ackward thinking if I've ever read it. The BIG difference is that when you bloodwarp you LOSE the xp. When you use an instant warp scroll, you LOSE cp that you have earned. You're way of thinking is as if someone is earning xp for the sole purpose of increasing their cp. That's ridiculous as I don't think anyone does that, lol. The cp are there as a bonus...to be used to your benefit.
But perhaps you are happy with losing xp while your cp sit there and gather dust.

i agree i would spend my conquest points on a scroll b4 i lose xp to hp. but i usualy just make myself a few warp cludgets and carry them around w/ me.
Well, I'd have to say that this is a very nifty item to have. However, now that I have a warp cudgel I've saved up 10k in conquest points. o.o It's very nice...Despite the fact that soon I'm going to be able to D2 with BLMs in my party XD
All I have to say is ever since the invention of the warp cudgel I have finally been able to break 5k in conquest points:) My gf, and half my ls has over 40k in conquest points:(... Man it sucks to be a meleer in a ls full of mages...

Make sure you give yourself plenty of time when activating this, since it takes a while to fire, and won't work if you're moving (eg fleeing for your life, which is when I usually activate mine).
There's nothing more annoying than using it in a crisis, then dying as it goes off and ending up as a corpse at your HP. It means you lost XP AND wasted CP.
Haha, I remember this pt went really bad one time. I mean crappy pulls...long down times....just bad. Then one pull, the guy grabs 3 beetles in the Nest. Well, I had a Scroll of Instant Warp and my 2hr handy...I told everyone to run and hit Invincible. As soon as they were out of my sight, i hit my scroll. I was back in Jueno and had the perfect excuse to ditch that crappy pt. ^^
can you really only use this the one time? So you have to buy one for like 750CP just for one use...is this really worth it if thats true, especially for lower levels.
check the conquest points guy at your nation gates or jeuno gates, i think it was like 700-800 cp points.
I cannot stress how handy and necessary this is to carry with you at all times when going to level far away from civilization; i was xping last night and dc'd and couldnt log back on, log on this morning stranded in the middle of valley of sorrows, been waitin for about 1/2 hour waiting for someone to pass by lol, good luck and keep that in mind.
