I travelled on a chocobo from sandoria to upper jueno in 12 minutes and 41 seconds and got the Glyph. I thought I would be something better but that was cool too.

I don't know exactly what the time to beat is, but here's some facts I do know:

Obtained from Choco Delivery from Kingdom Stables in South Sandoria to Duchy Stables in Upper Jeuno.
First obtained: set record at 12min 36seconds.
Second obtained: came in at 12 min 42seconds (woulda been faster, but I fell out of my chair halfway through Jugner. Long story.)

And since I still had my first one, the chocobo stables in Jeuno held on to it for me.
Wound up using my first one and picking up my second at the S. Sandy stables. Go figure.

Has anyone that came in after 12' 42'' still gotten the gate glyph?

I just submitted a picture, but if it never appears up top, you can look at it here:

I got one of these after doing a chocobo delivery from sandy to jeuno. I found that im cheap and if you accept the deliv you dont have to pay for the bird! the first time i did it i only got one of the grass u use to dig with and was upset about that but the second time i did the trip to jeuno i got one of these.

These were given out during Summerfest so you could warp back home after completing your run through the various "scary" dungeons you were teleported to by the event moogle.

If you died in the zone (either failing or succeeding in the mini-quest) you got to keep the Gate Glyph, which warped you directly to a city. A lot of people did that intentionally so they could keep the scroll for later use.
