They should add a note if these are stackable...
They are stackable. As of last night, a stack was going for 7k at the Windhurst AH, but individually they were selling for 300.

Why isnt this item used in any recipies even though in the description it says "A shell used by Mithra to make traditional accessories"?

Please link this item to the "paying lip service" quest, and add a "beehive chips" item linked to that quest as well.
Rewards for the quest are 150 for 3 beehive chips, and 200 for 2 remi shells

They aren't. They were selling for around 300 gil last time I looked.

I turned in two Remi Shells to Tapoh in Winhurst Woods at the pharmacy and received 200gil. The quest is repeatable.
