Xiphos is a sword made of bronze and is Greek in origin. This is one of two choices for adventurers when they're ready to upgrade their bronze swords. This one is the lighter and weaker choice than the Sapara.
If Final Fantasy XI was an offline game with the same storyline (up until Chains of Promathia), it would've been one of the greatest RPGs ever made.

On Sylph now you can make around 2k profit by selling these in Windhurst, even if you do buy the fire crystal.

if your on phoenix, i highly reccomend this because if you buy phemurs cheap you can make a few hundred gil profit, wich is good for starting out, but devastating to a noob if it breaks

Upon reaching Novice rank in a craft you can sign a contract (limit one) with a guild and trade them items for GP (Guild Points) which in turn gives you access to higher lvl guild items and equipment/furniture, etc.

So I was playing Unreal Tournament 2004, when this guy is like raping our base with his little gay Leviathian tank, I just started yelling profanity into the mic. I actually created a few new words in the process, he deployed and started to blast his overpowered Ion Ray, we all just ran, and ran, and ran.

I made this Xiphos with only lvl 1 smithing and 0 bonework but i think my lvl 7goldsmith helpt alot. but what lvl in smithing do u turn the weapon in?

Cant you just buy a xiphos and hand it to the smith guild leader and attain level 11?

You don't automatically get level 11 skill by completing the test, but yes, you don't have to personally make this item (or any other crafting test item) to pass the skill cap test.

No such thing as a Xiphos ingot. You need a bronze ingot.

that is a BRASS ingot Recipe
Nah, Brass uses Zinc rather than tin. Easy to get confused though.
