Xiphos +1 
so i was crafting Xiphos for a little cash and to lvl up my smithing, and somehow i created a +1 version o.O
and my skill was only 8 or 9 i think.
i have no idea how i did this, or if its just the luck of a thf.
and my other crafts are really low too, i think my second highest is bonecraft at 4...
if this has happened to anyone else please respond.

All depends on the day, the moon, your direction you are facing for the synth and your lvl. If you did it on Darksday, apparantly that's the best time for HQs... on a full moon

ive made a couple of these b4, i am currently lv 44 smithing and well for all the beginner crafters heres a hint.
theres tiers in crafting which are lv 11, 31, 51, and so on... if u are 11 levels higher than what the max lv of the synth is u have a small chance of making a HQ which is a +1 in this case.
if you are 31 lv's higher than the synth cap you have a decent chance of making a HQ and with 51lv's higher you have a verry good chance of getting a HQ or +1. hope this helps and clears this up 2 some people, and rate-ups are allways nice ^^

I think it's a crafted item.. I sorta bought one for myself at 1,401 Gil. I'm not sure if it was a rip-off or not. but all I can say is that it helped a LOT better than my damn knife I had from the begiining of the ame. (My dagger level is like.. 18)
ive been synthing xiphos to make gil. sellin for 2k each on garuda. i dont know about a xiphos+1 being dropped, but from what ive read, that if u master crafting a regular xiphos eventually u will synth a xiphos+1. that goes for all weapons or armor where a +1 is possible.

U can craft a Xiphos +1; it's rare to create though and your skill level has to be high
