So, don't wear it as a non-melee rdm.

The best job for it is probably going to be pup, maybe blu. Pups dont get any real good body armor (except the merc.cpt. doublet), which is fine, but you need to update it after a while, its only a lvl 30 equip with lvl30 defense. The nice +3Atk and +3Acc is also incredibly helpful for pups and blus.

The best part of Final Fantasy XI is its rich storyline. It separates this game from other MMORPGs. I chose to give my character a storyline that goes along with the game's storyline. I find that this is a more fun way to play the game. Playing the game just to fight in the endgame and collect elite equipment is very boring and is totally missing the main objective of the game, which is to guide your character through the storyline which is to save the world.
got it for my BLU^^

I just got this tonight and I'm very happy with it. It will defeinitely be handy for soloing/farming/skillups etc.

I was asked to wear a Cuir Bouilli(lvl 38) and Wool Hose(lvl 48) so it worked out very nicely.

Now to arrange a party with low to no (hahaha) fomor hate so I can get the Glamor Jupon. *drool*

I decided to get this doublet only because I feel it could be a useful doublet to wear for skillups and maybe farming. If I'm in a lvl 50 limit BCNM or area, this may also prove useful. Otherwise it's a nice to have.

I had to wear the Beak Jerkin and Carapace Subligar. Once, after picking this doublet, I had to get the Libra Subligar, which is dropped by Fomor Bards. The hardest part of this was probably getting a party that wouldn't forget about you after they got their subligar.

Also, if you do not like this Doublet, don't worry, you can start this quest again by simply wearing AF gear and getting different subligar. You can collect the whole set. ^_^
catch 22??

i woulda loved to have this, but the universe has screwed me again. brigid told me to wear a pair of lvl 58 pants.. and since i already got my warlocks tabard...its kinda useless... still, its nice.
Poor rdm ; ;

I got this by mistake trying to get the Gaudy Harness's subligar. =.= It's dissapointingly bad...in my opinion, nearly useless. And it is indeed a red Noct doublet. It's only advantace is looking kind of cool. :-/ Emphasis on 'kinda.' @_@;
This is awsome

From the icon, I would assume it looks like a red version of the Noct Doublet that's floating around in the .dats. Said .dat was included with CoP, but not used in any actual equipment... Until now, perhaps?
