How noticeable do you find these when you put them on. And is the -5 eva on O kote too much of a negative for the extra 5 attack for a ninja?

I personally saw better dmg with the extra 5 attack I've owned both and tried em both so stick with okote and the -evasion is barelly noticible and if your like me and go all out in buying stuff for jobs then you don't need to worry about the -evasion cause you have enough of it XD

First of all, thank you everyone for posting the price and which server they are on. There are many times where I come here to look up an item and get sidetracked. I often find many items that are not rare/ex and would like to buy if I could afford it at the time. If I am uncertain of how recent the post is, I look at the date of the person's post. I'd like to beat the mammets and go camp one of these for myself for my nin. That is, if I ever decide to level it again. There's no way I'd want to fork out zillions for it. If it's hard to get then it's just like the carect ring and the Moldy and a better challenge =)

omg it spwans every 24 hours how are you really supposed to get this thing i have trouble finding the panzer percival which is a 2hr pop supposibly and the brown belt for the mnk is another nm which pops every 24 hrs O M G pathetic if you have these items seriosley get a life oh and so **** the spelling is ****

I just gotta say... Wah.
Honestly, stop posting the price of items on your servers... Who gives a damn? I'm never gunna buy items on your server and this isn't a competion of prices between servers.
One sure Fact is that it doesn't matter what the prices are, inflation affects all items which just means that farming or crafting is gunna take just as long to reach your goal on items as ever. I would love to get on a server where this thing costs 10 mil and only 3-4 mil on mine and do some farming, then come back to my server and buy everything I've always dreamed of.
The economy of things in FFXI is not too different from rl... Supply and demand will affect the prices always. Gil sellers will have a certain (or should I say instead, substantial) hold on where the rice of items go. When I left the game 2 years ago the kotes were 500k, I would farm until I had enough to buy them (silk threads were about 10k a stack and grain seeds were 3k stack). Now the kotes are about 3mil... However silk stacks are now around 80k a stack and gran seeds are upwards of 40k a stack. When you look at it like that farming isn't much different.
Keep in mind folks that this is a FF game and a MMORPG (that means things take longer to do)... If you want to get Knights of the Round materia in FFVII you gotta go through some headaches to have a kick *** spell... If you want a scorpion harness in FFXI you're gunna have to go through some headaches (granted FFXI is an MMORPG and these headaches will take longer to deal with).
Also don't whine about how hard it is to juggle between your busy life and the game... You've got a life so that should please you to some degree, this game is for people with little social interaction looking for an escape... So intern there time in the game will pay off, it's inevitable.
Like most things in life you get what you put into it... If you don't have the time to put in to FFXI to become hardcore... Stick to console gaming as an escape (bonus side is you don't have to deal with people who think they are great because there video game character is "uber").
For the real life thinkers... Go get a GF/BF with an "uber" highney and live in squeeze heaven for a while. After all, that's where the real magic is.

You certainly have made a point there. You have no life, so you stick to gaming. Well, I'll tell you, I know many people who have jobs, school, and even do community service that are what you call "hardcore". People who stay up all night trying to get the seven elements for Carbuncles Ruby, or farming for Yagudo Necklaces for Norg fame.
What is the meaning of hardcore, anyways? From what I've always heard, it is basically spending a tremendous amount of hours in front of your computer screen. A.K.A. - having all the +1 items, the title of having completed all of your CoP missions, and having 50million gil.
However.
I am a casual gamer, and I have casual friends on the server I play on, and we find time to play and have all the things "hardcore" gamers have, except playtime days. I am truly sorry if people move faster than you.
Now, as a casual gamer, I find FFXI very enjoyable and I believe that I have reaped the benefits of spending my money and short, yet valuble time on this game. Besides, this game is more social than alot of other places, with linkshells, many different events, and expansions to keep gamers, casual and hardcore alike, interested.
That's all I really have to say. I'm not trying to be an *** or trying to burn or hurt anyones feelings in any kind of way. That is just my point of view.
P.S.- You are going to have to deal with people who think they are "uber" anywhere, especially on PvPs like Halo 2.

I can't tell if you're with what I'm saying or not. My statement was about people whining about certain key issues in the game, so I don't understand how you see my statement as another complaint about not having lots of money and exp.

Lol, O-Kote is 10.3M on Pandemonium with all the inflation. God knows how much This one is....I'd say about 15M~ XD Man, I'd have to hate being a MNK/SAM/NIN @ 34....wait.......I am lvling SAM now.....damnit. XD

O.Kote on Ifrit is 2.5-3mil i beleive, idk never looked as i think its stupid for a nin to buy anything with -eva, yet i see plenty of nin wearing it, H.Kote is 5mil im in the process of selling a few HQ Staffs from my blm to buy

YOu know my freind says its dumb for me to where these as a ninja but the thing is minus 3 or whatever evasion isnt a big deal plus after lvl 37 evasions impact isnt nearly as important, at least not when your talking about 4 to 5 times attacking power PLUS the extra damage helps alot with hate control, which is a major issue as ninja

On Leviathan these were selling for 5mil. O Kote is at 3mil. After seeing some of the prices for the other servers it's tempting to sell everything and switch servers to a cheap one when they have a server migration >.>
Our precious O. Kote are hovering betweein 3.8-4.1mil, and our H. Kote just jumped a mil from 6 to 7. :) Welcome to Hell. One guy dominates the H. Kote market, once again mostly because there's no competition for the guy.
also the reason this is more expensive is it is more usefel than o kote to ninja due to it not effecting evasion

the reason why this is worth more than O.Kote is because Boroka is a 21-24 hour pop and is in a level capped zone, which means you need more than 1 person to kill it (3 minimum imo).
this item is rarer and takes more effort to obtain. also it's considerably better for 1 of the 3 jobs that can use it.
all those things factor into the price, not just greed.

What somebody needs to do is start an LS whose purpose is specifically to camp high-priced item-dropping NMs that are hogged by all the gillsellers, then start dropping the price of the items on the AH by putting them up for less and announcing so in /shout around the AH so people know and run to buy it, thus crushing the gillselling business.

lets think about this, they camp it and get maybe one a week, so in the price list, there is one really low one, and the rest are bejusly high
/slap ... the only way to stop the gilsellers is for ppl to stop buying gil online....

These sell for 3.5M-3.7M on Fairy, and someone has gotten almost everyone of the last 10 spawns...the same mule has been selling in AH..so whoever has claimed this is probably using a bot or something. O. Kote is at 1.6M-2M..so my monk won't be getting either of these soon.

Not a Bot, just no/very little competition. One LS get's them pretty frequently, BahamutBreaker's. It's priced that high 1) because of almost 0 competition and 2) because of greed.
Majority of the people who get (and is willing to sell) these will post it for the same rate as all the others on the AH.

ok so i was camping ochiudos kote and then gave up cause of gillsellers never got a single claim and i camped ther for 4 days. I saw these on AH and decided to camp them results where the same. These go for 3.4 mil and Ochuidos go for 1.4 this is highway robberry cuz the same peole get the drops every damn time.

No, that just means no one has put them up on the AH yet.
On Kujata, these have been at a steady price but jump 500k every once in a while. They were 2500k when I got mine. Someone has a monopoly on the NM and the ******* made a mule to sell them named Boroka.... *shakes fist*
