The current price is 500k on Garuda and rising. Venerer Rings are about the same. Bowyer Rings are never in stock. I wouldn't be surprised to see them hit 750k in the next week or so.

It's better than the Archer's Ring and is 1 level lower, but since it is rare it is only worth about 350k whereas the Archer's goes for 400k. Then again items are sold based on their "worth", heh.

I've done the bcnm fight 4 times now. Pt setup, 3blms, whm, war/nin, rng. We can do well enough to get the NM down to about 1/2hp but then everything goes wrong.

I got a smn friend that we can sub in or if theres a better pt configuration that could win with me as blm. :) Please if anyone has any ideas lemme know. ^O^

anyone know any details about the BCNM fight, like what mobs, how many, a good plan for victory, a good party make up etc. etc. if you do, please post them, i have done all the pre-requisite stuff, just need to do the battle, oh and how do i get my party to the mine shaft if they do NOT have the quest activated? thanks in advance

BCNM
consists of 1 Dark Moblin the main boss, he has a sword, and does 2hr and for every hit, he hits you, drains HP from you 200+

6 moblins around him, 3 whm, 3 rdm, dispels and heals and buffs him

We beated with only 5 people on Asura, lost 2 times, and won 1

and people who does not have quest, Can't go into the bcnm, or get to the bcnm, unless they go through Newton Movalpolos, but im not sure if they can go into the fight...I'm pretty sure they have to have the quest activated though >.< or completed the quest once already, just like every mission or quest bcnms

First on Asura...
# Jan 19 2005 at 1:19 AM Rating: Decent
I'd just like to say, my LS HiddenVillage is the FIRST to have these rings on Asura... how do I know?? There was NO record for the BCNM fight... and We set it.. 10 minutes... but not bad with only 5 ppl. Guess we get to set the price here... :)

Congratulations to:
Vtomega
Spawny
Ryx
Misuto
and of course me,
Xavion

Good Job guys!.

I really think we're the first on Asura, b/c now that the public know of the ring, I bet if I went to the Mine Shaft, I'd see a dead party or two if I sat around all day. Noone knew wtf this ring was on Asura until we came out of that Mine Shaft.
lol, it's cool tobe the first RNG to get it too =P

Um, BCNM records are cleared out on various occasions. I've been the first to clock a time on Shiva Prime on Garuda ... and it was the second time I fought it.

lol just because your is the only one on AH doesnt mean u were the first one to get it. People, like myself, dont throw everything the get on the AH

yup for exemple, there are 0 Assault Breastplate at any AH on Siren, though some people have it (someone put one up at AH then get it back, without setting a price, hence the fact that there is no Breastplate appearing in the history window).
Return to the Depths

This item is obtained in the quest Return to the Depths. This quest is obtained from Ayame in the upper level Metalworks at the Cannonry @ K-7. In order to get this quest you must have completed the quests Out of the Depths and A Question of Faith.

Talk to Ayame to start the quest.
Go to Oldtown Movalopolos for a cut-scene upon zoning.
Go to Misareaux Coast and obtain a Misareaux Garlic that drops from the Orcs there.
Go to Jeuno Lower and trade the Misareaux Garlic to Muckvix (located at H-10 in Goblins' Goblet, through Muckvix's Junk Shop.) After a lengthy cut-scene, you will receive 2000 gil and the key item Letter From Muckvix.
Go to Kazham and talk with Magriffon, located at I-7 in Celodehki's Bed & Breakfast. Trade him 10000 gil for cut-scene and two key items: Letter From Magriffon and Providence Pot. (You will receive the 10000 gil back at the end of the quest. Note that trading Magriffon the 10000 gil will continue this quest even if other quests involving giving Magriffon gil are currently active.)
Return to Jeuno Lower and talk with Muckvix for a cut-scene where you deliver the key items and receive the Pungent Providence Pot key item in return.
Return to Oldtown Movalopolos for a cut-scene. Go to Tarnotik and talk with him, answer his questions in the affirmative both times.
Trade an Ahriman's Tear to Tarnotik to be teleported to Mine Shaft #2716 BCNM zone. Each person who is involved in the quest must trade a tear to Tarnotik to be teleported to the BCNM zone.
Once in Mine Shaft #2716, select the Shaft Entrance twice for two events; select in the affirmative both times. This will put you in a level 40 capped BCNM, with up to 6 people allowed.
The moblins Twilotak (Dark Knight), and three each of Moblin Clergyman (White Mage) and Moblin Wisewoman (Red Mage) will appear. Only Twilotak has to be killed to complete the BCNM; the other six can be killed if you wish, but by default will not attack with melee hits, just stand in the background and cast. Twilotak casts standard Dark Knight spells. The three Moblin Wisewoman cast spells such as Haste on Twilotak, and cast spells like Sleep II and Dispel on the party's tank. The three Moblin Clergyman cast spells such as Protect III and Cure IV on Twilotak, and cast spells like Holy on the party's tank. There are two ways to win this fight: either go with a lot of offensive jobs to kill Twilotak fast before he can be cured back up by the other moblins, or take enough curing jobs to kill the low-hp mage mobs, and then finally take down Twilotak.
Kill Twilotak to end the BCNM, and for a cut-scene where you receive the 10000 gil back. Note that once you complete the BCNM, when you zone out of Shaft Mine 2716 you'll be in Newton Movalpolos on a ledge above the standard moblins. If you do not have someone in your group who can Escape, talk to the NPC Sleakachiq on that ledge to receive a teleport back out to North Gustaberg, for 800 gil each.
Return to Metalworks and talk with Ayame for the Bowyer Ring reward, and to end the quest.
Optional followup: talk to the taru Ravorara from the earlier quests, to sell the Pungent Providence Pot for 1000 gil and receive a final cut-scene.

Reward: 3000 net gil possible, Bowyer Ring
Title: Goblin in Disguise
Recommended Level: A group of level 40 characters would be able to obtain the garlic and are required to complete the BCNM. The orcs with the garlic can be killed solo at level 63+, as well.

Edit: You must also have access to the Tavnazian Area.

there was a detailed post in the rng forum on how to obtain this ring.

i believe there are two pre-requisite quests and access to some promyvion areas is needed as well. get all the quests from Ayame(sp?) in Bastok Metalworks.
sorry i cant be more detailed, i havent done it myself. here's the link:

I know this just came out and whatever but does anyone know where you get this and how much it sells for. I'm looking for quests to occupy my time and just wondering if it would be worth it to do to maybe make some cash at the same time.
