got that on pheonix 250k nice piece and at lvl 50 it gives +19hp/mp ^_^anyway using it for almost any job at lvl 20 it kicks ass! :D

yeah...that blows for you guys lol... it only cost me 400k in Gilgamesh...but im not sure how the incrament system works...does it increase the hp/mp raised by wearing the crown or does it increase base hp/mp of the job itself?

I'm a level 45 bst and trump crown only gives me +18 hp/mp so far. Thankfully it was pretty cheap (surprisingly cheaper and easier to find/obtain than the Kosshin I used to use (back when Trump Crown was quite literally priceless for some mysterious reason).

I was completely shocked and did a big **eyeroll** when I see all the "omg 1t haz teh 1337nezz TH I swearz" on Alla and almost no real information on the effects of the item... For shame, Alla users!

Anyway if anyone has solid info on the MP/HP increase increments, it would be appreciated. And fyi to those who insist on continuing to lie: the amount of HP and MP + it gives will always be equal.

Oh and although I'm a skeptic of the hidden effect: TH thing, I killed an Ochu today and got 2 Malboro Vines, which I didn't think was possible without TH. It was the first time in 10 levels of using the crown that I noticed any unusual drops though.

This crown does not seem to be that rare at all on Kujata. I counted at least 10 sold in 1 months time, and price dropped from 8 mil to 2.8 (for which i bought) from march to april. The question i have is to those who have noticed major increases in drops, could you detail the conditions in which this crown seems to work more? Ive heard a little about being more effective for mages, some say more effective while solo, some say more effective for NM drops only, some say more effective for rare and rare/exclusive drops only. Does anyone have data or opinions on how i can get the most out of my crown?

well the price on my server for the crown is still going up and these things are rare as can be. there have only been like 8-9 sold total and the last three prices go up 2-4 mil each. If any of you doubt the effectiveness of this thing, check your servers ah in jeuno and look at the names of the ppl purchasing the crown. On my server they are all notorious thfs, that have made alot of money off of nm hunts. the word on the crown is creepin out too, ive been getting random /tells from time to time asking if i have it still(hell yea), and if i will sell it(hell no!)!

one thing i forgot to add is get this thing while you can before the price sky rockets, it seems the secret of this crown is getting out as im starting to see posts in thf forums on other sites.

well i bought one on garuda for 10m.im 50 thf and ive been using it and it sems like its not really working but i let a whole bunch of my friend mages borrow it and drops were insane! im starting to wonder if my treasure hunter cancels it out or if mage job s get the boost from it or sumthing. can someone else try it on there thf to see if it does the same thing on them?

Ok ive had this crown for almost 2 months and after doing alot of hnmls stuff, either 1, we have gotten insanely lucky.... or 2, the rumored th+ is indeed true. If you are doing any hnmls camps I would highly recommend getting this crown asap.

I have recently gotten my hands on Trump Crown. I am currently raising Bard, my BST is 75, and have a Thief 66, so I have many uses for it. I personally didn't believe the TH+1, so I wanted to test it out myself, even if I don't come to a soilid conclusion.

While heading out to test my Trump Crown with my Thief, I checked my HP/MP to see how much I have gained. I was shocked to find out that my Thief 66 had gained 39 HP to be exact; MP 25.

Also, while wearing this on my Bard during experience points party without Thief, I have seen semi-rare drops quite often; HQ Crab shells in Boyada, keys, Lucky Egg, etc.

There is definitely some mysterious effects on this Crown.

Hmmm. I got one little awhile ago in Valefor for my smn/whm (Godofmagic) i think i had to buy it for 5mil not sure how much it goes for there were 5 in the AH last i checked they dont sell to quick.. not sure about the TH though havent tested it but now that i see there may be a hidden effect when i get home from work tonight its time to do some testing >=) ill post what i can find out.

I sold one of these Yesterday on Bismarck for 18 million, mostly so cheap because I needed gil pretty bad :/ Soon after I had ben shouting I got offers for 25+ mil. I saw some people's posts on the "Treasure hunter" and not being able to get a pt myself to do the ksnm, I bought one on AH... I really like the thing, and I really really really wanted to see if it did in-fact have TH. <.< so needless to say I was only 2nd person to buy on AH XD damn person had it up for 10 mil. orz~ but I didn't know if I'd ever find one again, so anyway *poof* there goes 10 mil and I start my tests. I tried it as thf55 main /thf and no TH at all, one thing i'm convinced of after 2 months is that yes, this thing does have its own TH!!! so here i am starting to camp NM's ect. now <.< started my VE camping... killed him 3x and got hairpin 2x >< freaking got outlotted tho /sigh oh well. Killed LL 2x but no drop been taking out my frustration on leech and got 3 ruby's in 20 kills. Farmed 24 silk thread in less than an hour (holy sh*t!) meh, anyway there's more stuff I've tested it out on but this is long enough for me, hope you guy's get to test it out too ^^/ gl on getting the drop from that ksnm tho if you can't find one of these... after I bought mine people started putting up on ah for 3 mil. on Carbuncle.

I recently finally completed the pursuit to get the "Trump Crown". My close friend's I started the game with (Drk/Thf-Thf/Nin-Rng/Nin-Rng/Nin-Brd/whm-Nin/war) tried out this KS30 battle a few months ago, did it off and on, and about two weeks ago finally got it!
Not alot of information was found on it, sadly. It took all of our 210+ KS's to get it finally!
I couldn't help but read the posts on here, and wanted to put my input on this!

Rumors originally started that a certain "~" Provided a +1 MP and HP after every level after 20. This isn't true, I believe its 2 MP and HP after every 10 levels, then at 75 it adds another two.
*A Blm put it on and only recieved 27. hp/mp
*A Rng put it on and only recieved 27. hp/mp
*A Whm put it on and only recieved 27. hp/mp
*A Smn put it on and only recieved 40. hp/mp
*A Thf put it on and only recieved 27. hp/mp
*A Brd put it on and only reiceved 27. hp/mp
I haven't tried it on any other classes then just that.

I have noticed somethings though that maybe other people have noticed, my drop rate while solo-ing has increased suffiently...in EXP parties I got beastmen seals and kindred seals about every few battle, maybe I didn't notice it before though so i'm going to exclude that.
I believe that this is what this is in a unique but different perspective.
We gathered together and we fought Simurgh and got Strider Boots Reraise +1, Vile Elixer, and a fancy fire crystal. This was about a week ago. After seeing the drop's.
A Few other ground NM's also got drops after max 4 times of camping them, 5 would be pushing it. I wish there's a way to do snap shot's on the PS2 with the Log or Treasure menu open to host some snap shots. Anyone who obtains this, don't get rid of it I really believe this is something you keep until you retire from game! If you ever find it for sale, try to get it because the KS30 battle is very annoying and takes too much work. Please post feed back! I'd like to try it on a blackmage sometime and see if it add's or subtracts anmity or magic attack bonus.
Something's up with this crown for sure.

ok lets clear up everything about this crown since I now own it.

I am a lvl 70 whm atm and yes all the rumors about it are true however.... at lvl 70 whm it only gives me 10 more MP than the noble's crown.
I then was curious and let a 75 smn friend try it on and at lvl 75 it only gives +40HP +40MP with of course the +2 chr

however with my 51 blm it gives 10MP less than the gold hairpin

So as with all equipment in the game it is your own discression as to which is better:

AF/AF2 headpieces since mnd & int is on a few of them as well as spell interupt down, haste and other random stuff (enfeeb magic etc.etc.)

Zenith crown/+1 - 10 more MP than the trump but at the cost of -50 HP, however there is wayyyyy more def on the zenith crown

or the lvl 20 trump crown compare the notes and discuss.

However this damn thing has only sold off the ah 3 times on Ifrit and I'm not getting rid of it period because I like it and I worked my taru ass off to pay for it!!!

If this item increases by atleast one MP every level, it would give more MP thain a Zenith crown at lvl 75... AND it gives HP...
I think its like +69HP/MP at lvl 75

This would be pretty good for bst as well.

I believe (though have been unable to test it) that this crown will gain ever larger amounts of HP and MP as you gain level.

The actual stats read like this

Def: 10 HP: 14~ MP: 14~ CHR: 2

The tilde, in my experience, in FFXI signifies a numerical upward scaling.

For example, in Expeditionary Force anyone 20~ can join the Zulkheim EF. That specifically translates to "20 or higher."

This crown may very well be like those high level items in old EQ, where you could equip them at low level, but didn't gain their full effect until higher level.
