I sold one of these Yesterday on Bismarck for 18 million, mostly so cheap because I needed gil pretty bad :/ Soon after I had ben shouting I got offers for 25+ mil. Now I feel like such an ***, and shoulda taken my time to sel it! I mean I am glad I made a great profit, but now I am stuck wondering how much I coulda made off it ;; Boo

just a quick question i guess it is... my friend is a 75smn, and he and another 75smn friend of our have put on the crown, and it gives 27hp 27mp, not 40, so is what everyones posting wrong, or what?
I saw some people's posts on the "Treasure hunter" and not being able to get a pt myself to do the ksnm, I bought one on AH... I really like the thing, and I really really really wanted to see if it did in-fact have TH. <.< so needless to say I was only 2nd person to buy on AH XD damn person had it up for 10 mil. orz~ but I didn't know if I'd ever find one again, so anyway *poof* there goes 10 mil and I start my tests. I tried it as thf55 main /thf and no TH at all, one thing i'm convinced of after 2 months is that yes, this thing does have its own TH!!! so here i am starting to camp NM's ect. now <.< started my VE camping... killed him 3x and got hairpin 2x >< freaking got outlotted tho /sigh oh well. Killed LL 2x but no drop been taking out my frustration on leech and got 3 ruby's in 20 kills. Farmed 24 silk thread in less than an hour (holy ****!) meh, anyway there's more stuff I've tested it out on but this is long enough for me, hope you guy's get to test it out too ^^/ gl on getting the drop from that ksnm tho if you can't find one of these... after I bought mine people started putting up on ah for 3 mil. on Carbuncle.

And personally i am like uhh 0/32-37 on him myself WITH the crown did as smn/whm50+ for awhile and eventually went to whm/rng with it on, didnt make a difference in the world ; ;
yeah...considering that the highest ANYONE has ever gone on JEJ that I know of is 1/(insert ridiculously large number here)...I'd say that story is bull and the guy in question had a Trump Crown for sale for more than past listings.

I recently finally completed the pursuit to get the "Trump Crown". My close friend's I started the game with (Drk/Thf-Thf/Nin-Rng/Nin-Rng/Nin-Brd/whm-Nin/war) tried out this KS30 battle a few months ago, did it off and on, and about two weeks ago finally got it!
Not alot of information was found on it, sadly. It took all of our 210+ KS's to get it finally!
I couldn't help but read the posts on here, and wanted to put my input on this!

I have noticed somethings though that maybe other people have noticed, my drop rate while solo-ing has increased suffiently...in EXP parties I got beastmen seals and kindred seals about every few battle, maybe I didn't notice it before though so i'm going to exclude that.
I believe that this is what this is in a unique but different perspective.
We gathered together and we fought Simurgh and got Strider Boots Reraise +1, Vile Elixer, and a fancy fire crystal. This was about a week ago. After seeing the drop's.
A Few other ground NM's also got drops after max 4 times of camping them, 5 would be pushing it. I wish there's a way to do snap shot's on the PS2 with the Log or Treasure menu open to host some snap shots. Anyone who obtains this, don't get rid of it I really believe this is something you keep until you retire from game! If you ever find it for sale, try to get it because the KS30 battle is very annoying and takes too much work. Please post feed back! I'd like to try it on a blackmage sometime and see if it add's or subtracts anmity or magic attack bonus.

75 PLD/WAR gets +27 HP and +27 MP.
Bought one to test it in case it gave 40 HP like with SMN, that would make it the best HP headpiece in the game for Spirits Within - anyhow, Kaiser Schaller/Koenig Schaller remain the best with +32/30 HP.

Yea, this does not give +27 i keep forgetting to update this damn thing when i posted awhile ago, apparently from what i have found out this does not give TH people are just making it out that way to sell it BUT several JP players have swore up and down that this is just like the Shade gear it adds that empty killer stuff or whatever, on my 60 smn it gives me just a little more then 30hp i cant quite remember ill check when i get home tonight as for mp its somewhere in the 20's again i havent played smn in almosst 3 or 4 months, but sadly no TH from all the jp players instead the hidden effect is the empty killer effect, but the mp and hp balance are not the same on my smn indeed one is higher then the other and it is HP it tends to put me right at 30 i believe and mp is at about 24, ill follow up tomorrow when i come back to work.
Would 5 75 BLMs be able to do this BCNM? Hmm... I have no experience with KS BCNM's or much with Cardians at this point, so I am unsure of their magical resistance...

ok lets clear up everything about this crown since I now own it.
I am a lvl 70 whm atm and yes all the rumors about it are true however.... at lvl 70 whm it only gives me 10 more MP than the noble's crown.
I then was curious and let a 75 smn friend try it on and at lvl 75 it only gives +40HP +40MP with of course the +2 chr
however with my 51 blm it gives 10MP less than the gold hairpin
So as with all equipment in the game it is your own discression as to which is better:
AF/AF2 headpieces since mnd & int is on a few of them as well as spell interupt down, haste and other random stuff (enfeeb magic etc.etc.)
Zenith crown/+1 - 10 more MP than the trump but at the cost of -50 HP, however there is wayyyyy more def on the zenith crown

However this damn thing has only sold off the ah 3 times on Ifrit and I'm not getting rid of it period because I like it and I worked my taru *** off to pay for it!!!

It seems that nobody on any servers have even seen this item in AH history, does it even exist in the game yet? or is it just another one of those "hidden" items found inside the game's code, like the lvl 90 weapons etc...
If this item increases by atleast one MP every level, it would give more MP thain a Zenith crown at lvl 75... AND it gives HP...

He's only a 52 bst.. he wouldn't last 2 seconds in an uncapped bcnm.

Garrisons are lvl 20 capped BCNM-style battles where you fight waves of certain mobs while defending NPCs (called recruits) from those same mobs. The number of mobs you fight and the number of recruits you protect are based on how many people go into the garrison fight. Once you defeat the first wave of mobs, and if your recruits are still standing, the next wave comes. The last wave is an NM, though I'm unsure of the level. These fights are done at the various outposts around Vana'diel. To activate the battle you need a certain rare/ex item associated to that region, and you must be a citizen of the nation currently in control of that region. I.e. You need to be from San D'Oria to turn in the red cryptex in Ronfaure to being the Garrison fight there. Only the person that hands in that item needs to meet the requirements. It doesn't apply to the rest of the party and/or alliance members.
The items/regions I've come across are as follows:
Ronfaure / Red Cryptex
Gustaberg / Darksteel Engraving
Beadeaux / Silver Engraving
Altepa / Dhalmel Leather Missive
Xarcabard / Bahemoth Missive
I've only done these battles twice in Gustaberg, and it was mostly the lag that got us killed. Also, the Garrison gear you see at the AH are drops from these battles. Good luck.

Actually, the cap for Garrisons varies by region. The only three with a level 20 cap are Gustaberg, Sarutabaruta, and Ronfaure. I do the Saru garrison all the time in my LS on Gilgamesh. If you have a core group of skilled people and take the time to farm several starting items for the battle, they can be quite the profitable event, especially for people in their level 20s.
Can anyone with this item confirm the ~ actually means it scales upwards?
Garrison 40 has variable gear drops, which have this effect as well. Except there it means the stats vary with day and moon phase.

This would be pretty good for bst as well.
unfortunately for those of us hoping to get one out of the AH, it is quite doubtful that these will ever sell.... due to the fact that this lvl20 piece of gear drops from an UNCAPPED BCNM vs 1x King + 2x Queen >_< add to this that there does not seem to be any useful drops other than this out of that BCNM (oh joy! i got a "King of Coins" card... O_o what the heck is this good for?) and that it is a "Kindred Seal" BCNM and you can see why this will be so rare >_<
Actually the cards have excellent value.
When carrying one of the cards, that paticular type of Caridgan will not aggro you.
I.E. Carry the King of Cups cards will keep any Kings of Cups Cardigan from attack you.
So if going to an area of the Ruins that is Tough for you, you can carry the cards for the mobs there, and walk right on thru with no issues.

That's already been proven completely 100% false. They will still aggro you anyway.
That, or you could cast Sneak and prevent all of the Cardians from aggroing you. And how often does anyone go to that part of the ruins who isn't on a Windurst mission?
Cards agro magic users and have very strong linking power. I level in these towers all the time, and i just throw the cards away or sell them at the outposts. the cardians drop light crystals and is a easy way to get exp. My question is, if you have a card of say 2 of whatever, will that mob not link with the others. i am going to try this. if this is successfull then you could easy get exp in here. It sucks unless low level near zone do to the linking issues. and would everyone in the party need the card or would one party members card be enough to control mob? if one person needed the card and you had a party of 4 each collecting a card of each type. the whole party could go well past level 40 off just cards 2-10. hmmm.
The BCNM also drops Trainer's gloves (BST AF2) so theres another reason it'd be worth it.

Um... no this doesn't drop BST AF2 gloves, BST AF2 set is called Monster not Trainer, and AF2 is RARE/EX its not tradeable or sellable on AH as the Trainer's Gloves are
It's high level JSE specifically for BST, so it's similar to AF2; kinda like the Sha'ir set for BRD or Igquira (sp?) set for BLM. Not exactly a horrible mistake. : P
