ive tried out this weapon... sadly... if you use the enchantment then switch to a stronger weapon the effect wears off immideately T_T
Most (maybe all?) enchanted items with a lasting effect do that - with the notable exception of the EXP+ rings Chariot/Empress - e.g., the max hp+20% effect of the Bard's solo ENM60 prize, the Getsul Ring wears if you unequip it...In this case, it actually *does* make perfect sense, as the Enfire effect could be interpreted as being applied to the weapon itself.

This is a great weapon but how do you if you can refresh enfire when it runs out?

When you use of an Enchantment the item returns it's normal state. For this item it's normal state is the Homura, you can then have it resynthed if you have the ingredients back into Koen.
SWEET! I knew there was a good reason to level up Alchemy. With the right ingredients I can keep recharging this bad-boy!

Its a much worth while purchase. I got it in jueno/garuda, for 20k, I was the 3rd person to ever buy one, it's new, an it's hot. The price is sky-rocketing so you might wanna get one fast even before level 34. Last I looked it has already jumped up to 30k or so. Lovely blade try it, they love me in the Garliage Citadel while leveling to 40. Try it you'll love it.

This is a Great Katana type weapon. As the Homura is a great katana. I'm geussing it is also of the Tachi class.
