Wind Crystal x1 Lumberjack (key item) Bundling Twine x1 Maple Log x 3
I got the recipe at skill 4, though I can't try it because the Lumberjack requires guild points, and I obviously need to be higher for that. I assume the yield is 3 on a normal crafting.
for everyone who is starting to craft in woodworking this is the best thing to synth first because its lvl 5 and if ur a mage u can use this to make a maple wand and maybe if ur lucky u might get a +1 wand.
If you want skill-ups it's best to attempt recipes around 5 levels (or slightly more) higher than your current skill. Just be sure to have Advanced Synthesis support from the guild. You'll be amazed how quickly you skill up.
When I posted this comment, I was taking into account that for most items posted on this website (on the final fantasy part of it, not EQ), the level posted for the recipes are usually not the trivial (for example, bone arrows are level 3 but I'm still getting skillups at lvl 6). I was posting this comment for the sake of consistency.

To offset this, fledgling carpenters, save the maple lumber till 16 to skill up on maple tables. Turns em into profit, too.
