im currently 45Bone 40GOLD my % are VERY low. ive gotten 4 pearls. in about 21 synths. on same day, facing the right direction, during FULL MOON so i would guess or recommend not trying this unless ur bonecraft is 81+
There's no goldsmithing involved and do it lightnings day + full moon facing east for best results. And Tier 3 cap is lv. 18 +51 so at 69 Bonecraft you should have a good HQ rate. I make these and my Goldsmithing is only 24 so I know it's not a factor.
Last night was full moon and lightningsday: 12Black Pearls 13 Pearls 4-5 breaks out of about 90 synths
I checked on the receipes list of Elm Lumber since he got that from his desynth and cound't find anything that uses also Black Pearls. I think he these guys are playing with us.
I farm these in the grotto while getting small amounts of xp as 62drg/whm. I also just started desynthing these the other night with woodworking. Got 3/7, 3 elm lumber, 3 black pearls, and 1 break. They go for 240k a stack on seraph.
I got a drop of one of these while soloing as BST. I must have killed 3-4 dozen mobs of the type that drops this and I just got my first and, almost certainly, only drop. Man this is a rare drop...

Wow.... my TH2 must've finally been working for once then... I was helping someone get an SSG coffer key, and like 4 or 5 of these dropped. And I was only there for like a bit less than an hour killing Sahagins and crabs. Which was pretty cool, cuz these sell for like 6-7k/piece on the Bastok AH.
