Incorrect. I'm a PLD, got an Admiral's shield (enhances Aquan Killer effect) and I've intimidated Aquans. So, at least as far as the Admiral's shield goes, "enhances killer effects" adds the killer effect to you.
This shield also enhances all the "killer" effects. This shield is godly for Beastmasters who already have all the killer effects. I've heard it will give players killer effects even if their job doesnt naturally have them, but cant confirm it.
Best shield in the game for a bst hands down. Now to farm the pop item . . .

As warrior you could use this shield when in a pt with THF sub when the PT is asking you to open light, the extra 5 STR realy helps boost the dammage of Mistral Axe.
Well, last time I checked, a Tatami was a type of mat that covers the floor in traditional Japanese housing.. And as far as the shield itself, take into account that since it is a large type shield; that it will block more than others, and that the STR+ is nice for things as THF/WAR or WAR when using a shield for... some reason.
Actually it looks more like a washboard than a shutter to me.
This could be helpful to a PLD tank though. The killer effects would reduce dmg through intimidation and the extra str would help keep hate a bit more. With all the def and vit gear you'd have by this level I don't think this would hurt.

Yeah....I have to agree that it looks like an old window shutter that's been aged over. But for the stats, it's still a sweet shield. The level is definately too high cause I'm sure there's a better shield out there for that level....and price.....Who knows..?

haha shutters ...yeah. But they need to lower the lvl Iv been stuck with royal gurds for god knows how long becauce they jacked dimond shield up 2 mil on diablos <excuse the spelling>

they forgot to add the other thing on this shield that makes it so great to have.

basically anything attacking the person who is wearing the shield will get intimidated every now and then.

one part of me wants to say this looks cool the other half of me wants to laugh hysterically cuz it really looks like someone decided to rip a shutter of their window to use as a shield lol
Looks like a pretty kickass shield for THF/WARs. :)
This seems like the best shield for a BST, Party or not, too. :)
