i just got this. you trade Yurin or w/e a white chip and a silver obi, then 7 Xzomit organs, 3 Aern organs, and 3 of those Tissues.

It doen't give you the 10% cure every day, im pretty sure it just makes the 10% on lightsday a 100% chance.

Has anyone tested or tried crafting with any of these on? And if you could, do you think it would help with making HQ or not losing any materials if you bust?

Mmmm I really want this. After seeing my friend have this item it just blows me away. As people have said, it will give the lightsday/light weather bonuses 100% of the time.

One thing that I thought my friend had told me (been awhile now) is that it also affects other days too. On non lightsday you will occasionally get a lightsday like affect kicking in (just like what any person without the obi gets on lightsday). Also on darksday/dark weather you don't get the negative affects kicking in. I'll be honest, I'm not 100% sure about the above 2, but I'm pretty certain that was what I was told.

Either way I can't wait to get it. Becuase unlike things like the light staff and tunic, this affects all light based magic (like the banishes).
Perfect for WHM

This piece increases by 10% any Light-related actions, which makes it a must for WHM.

Combined with a Light Staff/Healing Staff and a Noble's Tunic, you get a whooping +30% Cure potency on Light Day (Light wheater basically just never, ever happens; no, Qufim doesn't count).

It rocks super hard. Go ahead and try it.

Light related actions?

Does that mean it works for charm on BST?

There are Areas with Light Weather conditions:

All Temenos Areas has ALWAYS double Light Weather.

So at Lights day with Nobles and Light Staff you have 50% cure potency. (With latent Ring even 60%)

You get 10% damage increase on lightsday and another 10% increase on light weather , but I've been told you can get another 10% increase on top of that is its both light weather and lightsday , with a 30% increase in DMG total.

To get the reward Korin Obi in the quest "In the In the Name of Science." you trade Yurim (First Floor, Tavnazia) a Silver Obi, White chip, Xzomit Organ, and Aern Organ.

so i got one, mainly because i had the items anyway. it doesnt seem to do much, but then im SMN and BRD. i suppose if it was light day and light weather, cures and lullaby would be stronger. other than that, not much to expect from it
#REDACTED, Posted: Feb 15 2006 at 9:01 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) this item makes it lightsday/light weather for you

Could be for both. Cause it list both lightsday and light weather, so could be for Magic and Synthing possibly.

I wonder if this would enable a BST to charm T+ or higher conning mobs?
