Was omw to Davoit with a Skill up pt when someone claimed it and called me and 2 others over. Took it down and there was the drop. Decided that we were gonna sell and split the share when someone lotted it being uber greedy (btw, his lot was like a little under 130). 2nd lot was 460-something and mine was 9 points over his. Got the drop... after reading a fortune cookie 4 hrs earlier lol. wot for fortune cookies.

Why is it that people feel a need to say an item is junk? Sure, this is crap in an exp party, but what about for soloing? I have a lot of attack+ gear for my WHM for soloing, and might just have to add this to it. ;p

Maybe its good for the Bard or Redmage who want to melee every once and a while. But isnt that lvl 61 mantle better? Or if the person does not feel like waiting that long.

um... this mantle doesnt really have a point. Yes RDM's ard often tiomes melees but... they are mages frst... hence the the Red MAGE i see no point in this mantle.

This is what makes people ignorant to the fact that we may like to solo our XP, and this a nice addition to those who weild swords.
When you complain in ballista about a RDM beating you down, and they're wearing this, you might change your mind. Mabey that's why RDM has B sword skill.

If a RDM beats you down in ballista cap60+ it shouldn't be because of that sword skill, it should be because of magic, if a RDM can outdo a Melee in H2H combat than that melee sucks or that RDM is very very 1337.
I was going to say equipment change macros... but its lvl 52 so they're already refreshing and stuff, so i guess its for solo only.

hmmm. you may be on to something, "Bellicose" means: temperament or to have a temper. if maybe one of the qualified mages can sub war and use "Berserk" job ability this may activate the hidden effect.
unfortunately i don't have a whm/blm/rdm/brd/smn higher then 52 to test my theory on my own, so if anyone willing to test this out post your results.

nah i think he meant mages but he got so caught up in the moment he put melee again instead of mage... happens to me a buncha times...
