i was thinking, with the new update you dont lose TP when you heal when you have signet, so who would want to change weapons with this staff and lose all that precious TP unless it would be better to get rid of it and heal HP faster... decisions decisions

My thoughts would be for SMN, BRD, or especially BLM where you may use a staff in early levels, and early on you wouldn't have too many benefits from other staves at lvl 10, so this could make things more efficient. In fact it doesn't get that great until 17 or 33. A few mp or hp here and there.
But that's to say these 3 aren't subbing WHM. Let's say for example I was taking blm to 18 then whm to 37. I wouldn't have a subjob til 18 so no cure spell, and I'd probably be too broke or in a hurry the first time around to get drain, so for the soloing between 10-18 when not in a party, hp heal could be good.
Just a thought.
Though this should be a fun outting sort of thing, not something you camp days for. One night, tops.

id personaly say keep this n heal faster cause ud lose TP anyway n i dun think ud loose it faster with this on than u wud without it + ud be safer cause ud heal quicker (bu this is my opinion)

He could have just passed it, but that doesn't mean it goes straight to the other guy. Go out and do it yourself. Just because you pass it doesn't give it to the other person automatically. If he lotted and you don't pass or lot, he doesn't get it automatically. A party is a party, servers don't discriminate between 2 or 6 people. If you pass, the other 5 or 1 people (person) can lot it. He has to lot (which he couldn't) to get the item automatically after a pass.
I hope you don't object to my badgering of the whitless.

Actually if you pass an item it will go to someone that has passed as long as
1. Their inventory isnt full.
2. It isn't a <rare> item and they already have it in their inventory.
In experience parties the stuff only drops when inventories are full.

Actually, you can sell it to NPCs...Not sure why you'd want to, but it is possible to sell it. You only get 100 gil or so for it.

I use this weapon when leveling up WHm for my sub. This helps lower the down time. It also has decent attack for soloing at a low level.

A friend of mine had killed Swamfisk earlier and sent me a tell so i went to the pop area I-9; East Ronf area about 1 hour later with TH1. He poped 2hrs after friend sent me tell so i can confirm the 2-3hrs pop time. Got the Staff too; 1/1.

I just came back to the game recently after about a 3 month layoff and Im wanting to lvl lower jobs so I went and camped this. Took about 20 minutes before he popped. I got the staff. I think it is a 100% drop.

Swamfisk seems to have arount 300 to 350 hp... My last hit was a WS for 70 damage the rest i hit it for 10 to 15 damage.

I just got this for my 46 mnk i use it when soloing it really help when resting for 1000+ hp
i didnt think of that ....i wudnt want it for mage but i guess solo mnk wud be great ...theres another one with +2mp recovered a crow in outpost in east or west sarutabaruta. i hit the tab key and was trying to use auto translate function ><

wow i want this o.o i solo stuff alot where i gotta heal up, and as a 52 mnk w/ almost 1200 hp...it gets tiring sometimes ;; i have my cooking friend make me some red hot crackers (hp while healing +9) that i use all the time, but this would be a nice addition ^^

is this only weapon add the +4 for healing ? i got it before most , to lazy to look up ,if this only weapon get it, it can do some insane healing, if add food to it while healing, i got first tick plus 19hp, healing but, if change gear can get plus 28hp tick, add to it, solo , wish not rare exclusive be worth millions, i been told takes 2hr to 4hrs real time get it spawn. the nm
