Sirocco Kukri  

I got this a few days ago from the help of Kagebunshin(PLD), Kyi(RDM), Zoya(MNK) and myself(WHM). We decided to randomly camp him without a ToD, and said screw it. We were there for only 20 minutes when in the middle of fighting a Cockatrice, I'm being hit by Kreutzet! Noone else there but a solo THF and a NIN who actually told me that Kreutzet was spawning next game day. Zoya owned the crap out of it with his Spharai, he used Hundred Fists to open and took a good 40% off of it. I died during the fight as Kreutzet killed me when we were fighting the Cockatrice, but managed to get kill and drop! 1/1 (As I'm guessing this isn't 100%)

Love it. Dropped last night, nice looking offhand with BD mainhand. Tanked K with total of 344 +/- evasion, whm and thf friend in party. Was afraid I was not going to be able to keep hate, but no problem at all after other thf did a TA/DE on me. Whm kept up baraero, and we whittled him down. Would have gone a bit more quickly if any of us had remembered to bring food :)

At the moment I'm @ 3k exp until 69 on THF. Would absolutely love to have this kukri for my THF. So.... anyone want to help a poor Galka THF out? -.^ I can camp the ToD easily on my 75BST and probably hold him for awhile throwing every pet in the zone at him as he more than likely will rip them to hell and back. Problem would be getting reinforcements there to help in time. So if anyone on the Lakshmi server feels like helping out, send Khael a /tell. Thank you and may you never double-post for the remainder of your days.

lol all you ppl suck T.T im currently 0/9 on him and lost claim about 7 times, i do not know what is wrong with my luck since i am a thf with TH3 and it dose not want to drop for me... sux lol ohh well guess ill try him again later or something

getting a little frustrated with this nm. dont worry i dont have to much of a rant but i need to vent a little.
came out with me (rdm75)and a buddy who was 75 thf. he was also deul boxing a 65 whm so we figured we were good. he had ToD so it was just a matter of time for it to pop. well... 15 minutes before it popped i fell asleep. >< both thf and whm died and i was just standing there. an apology later were back out the next day. as we are fighting it turns wind weather and we see him. so we zone our mob cause we had 2 on us. we come out and a lone rdm got claim. within 10 seconds about 10 ppl show up out of nowhere. i believe they were hacking but i already know gms wont do sh??. so next night 40 minutes after windom closes wind finally pops and we get the claim. thr fight was pretty wasy except for its tp move which almost killed the thf a few times. i would cast blizzard III for about 500 dmg then thf would sa dancing edge for around another 500. after a few rounds of that he went down and we did not get the drop. definitely dissapointed because i heard the drop rate was supposed to be fairly good.
ill report next kill as we plan on getting it next time it pops.

server maint = go camp your nms. went out as soon as maint was over window closed then 15 mins later wind happens, have me 68 thf 75 war/nin 2x 75 rdm and a 75 brd bust its ass and got drop, and this was first time i have ever camped it so im 1/1. Now all i need to do is get another lvl with my thf and ill be rocking it with my harpe till i get my blau. GL camping

Can it get any better?

I'm just thinking ahead for thf equipment and im not sure weither this or Garuda's dagger would be better to sub. keeping in mind im a taru 7 att is always welcome and theres also the agi on garuda's but this has a lower delay, a couple more DMG, and the wind damage. Anyone have any input?

Edit: I already have garuda's dagger by the way so thats a plus, i would have to get this kukri if i wanted to use it.

VERY nice kukri. Too bad MNK is my main or getting this little beauty would be on my priority list. (My list is currently getting O.Kotes and Jujitsu Gi without having to pay for em [I.E. camp the NMs for them])

Killed him lastnight Be warned when fighting him
he Will occationally AOE it somes in set of 3 so
if ur a nin tank dont recast Utsusemi until all 3
have done off. Easy to tank thou other then that
But 3 lvl 75's can trio it with slight difficulty

would recommend Nin, Thf, Blm, and Rdm

Only difficulty really is a clean pull he pops
in the middle of the Mantacores, and birds.

blah what a sexy lil toy the thf get eh use Hornet needle with this you will be like a endless Hunderd fister :P
