Gold & Plat should be like, the U B E R bullets that play their part in splitting up the uber rich rangers to the standard, run of the mill, factory job rangers
WT*, is SE that slow? First they make Beetle arrows at higher lvl than Fangs w/ lower damage; now they want us to use Gold Bullets when Irons are same lvl to use higher dmg and adds Corsair to the mix. Honestly the +5 accuracy is nice but not worth the dmg loss or price. (just my oppinion though.)
I was excited when I saw this listed as something I could make, but these bullets are worthless. No Ranger would use these instead of Silver, and no one can afford to use these anyway. I guess they want to make sure THF sticks to crossbows if they want ranged damage.
Have you ever even heard of "Unlimited Shot"? The whole point of unlimited shot is to use expensive ammo with your weapon skill to increase your damage and accuracy and so forth so that you do not waste the ammo. If done correctly they can be very useful and worthwhile.
These however would be much better if they did have higher damage or atleast damage competeable with the cheaper silver bullets.
What if this just happens to be like the golden bullets from Goldeneye 007? Y'know...the one hit kills and all. Probably wouldn't proc often in this game, but...what if?
OH come on SE! If you're going to finally make a bullet THF can use, why the hell must it cost more to make than silver buyllets, be a higher level so that consistant HQ's are impossible, AND be far inferior to silver bullets? Hell the fact that it's 20 something levels higher to synth alone should make it a better bullet, much less the pricier ingredients.
They should have just added THF and NIN to silver bullets...... Not like RNG still wouldn't have a much higher marksmanship skill, the only ranged WS's, and cannon shells and spartan bullets to themselves, to make them better at it than us.
No RNG in their right mind will use this. Silver Bullets will cost less to produce and do so much more damage. The +5 accuracy is a moot point at best.
