Yea just got this from JoF and it kicks ass :P u can tell the difference between this and pcc. Havent tried Chi Blast with it yet in sky but im sure it will add some more dmg on.

Given the right gear to support this, this is easily a better choice over pcc for mnk neck. For example, you lose about 4 acc going from pcc to torque, but if you have lets say HQ acc rings, you've made up for your loss and gained 7 attack in the process.
Torque > pcc

If you have 8/8 H2H Merits, you Faith Torque gives you 7acc

H2H Skill isn't like the other combat skills.

+7 H2H is +6 acc, +7 atk and +some Weapon Damage.

Peacock Charm/Amulet is not competition for this (for MNK).
And the MND for Chi Blast is a good bonus.

And yes, +MND for Holy/Holy Bolts is the same as +INT for Elemental spells and Bolts.
Don't forget.

A meritted MNK (292 h2h skill) would not get a dmg boost from 299 skill. You would need 300

every skill level you gain acc and atk, and its between 2-3 usually for an A skill, not 1 per lv, so this IS the best neck piece for mnk(exceptions for WS armor don't flame me >.>), blows pcharm away without a doubt, and same for rng assuming they use xbow or gun, and MND is a big contributor to holy bolt dmg~

i still dont know if its the best neck piece for mnk. 7h2h skill is nice. but that does not add up to very many att or acc. i still see PCC better.

DRK's do it Hard and Slow. MNK's do it with both hands. RNG's do it from across the room. THF's do it from behind. BST's do it with animals. DRG's do it just to get noticed. SAM's do it alot. NIN's do it with imaginary friends. PLD's flash you then do it. RDM's want to do it but no one lets them. WAR's do it then brag about it. BLM's do it then blame it on the tank.

PCC is not quite as good as this is, but not too much worse. ACC is more potent than ATK is, but not to the degree of 3 ACC worth more than 7 ATK. This is the final end game piece for MNK in the neck slot.

MNK? Yes, best neck item, easy.
RNG? Yes, Best neck item, easy, unless the RNG is using a bow, then they may want to go with the one that increases Archery. But, Your mention of the Holy bolt is new to me, I have never heard the Holy bolt being effected by MND. Now, I can be completely wrong, I'm not a RNG and have very little interest in the job. But do you have a thread that discusses this to better inform the RNG newbs?

How about COR? COR uses Guns, and if they sub WHM for a support role, i.e. using Quick Draw to buff and Curaga and na's to back up heal, this could be a very nice neck piece, hell, even with RNG or NIN sub I would like this neck piece as cor.

Yes, +MND gear will increase the damage of holy bolt damage. Hands down best neck piece for Holy Bolt RNG. I would swap out for WS however.

Why do the stats on this go hand in hand for both jobs that would use it?

+7 H2H +damge +acc, pretty dam nice
same for marksmanship .

+5 Mind

Monk = Chiblast
Ranger = Holy Bolt damage

I really dont think theres anything better for the neck slot for Monk than this item. its blows them all away.

laters

From what I have read.. This is dropped (not 100%) from the Jailer of Faith. The Jailer of Faith is considered to be a Tier 1 Sea god.

The Jailer of Faith is a forced pop with an HQ Euvhi Organ traded to the ??? in the Garden of Ru'Hmet (2nd map) at positions H5, E8, K8, J11, F11.

The Jailer of Faith also drops Faith Baghnakhs(100%) and the 3rd Virtue (not 100%).

look at it: sure not for just one job, but the stats are pretty nice

MND+5 and H2H +7... mnk w/ chi blast :P

MND+5 marksmanship+7... rng w/ holy bolts (since mnd supposedly helps hoyl bolt extra dmg)
So, though it cant be for just one job... stats on it are still pretty nice, I haven't seen the love torque... but I'm sure that does about the same thing too

I find the stats they put on these funny. Most of them can not have all the stats used by a single job. Like this one for instance, how many MNK use crossbows? And how many THF use polearms on the Love(?) Torque?

Mellowy is awesome, now.
