DRG:X
# Nov 13 2006 at 5:03 PM Rating: Decent
This piece is worthless for drg, unless you like looking like a WWI german soldier hehe.
Solo: Wyrm Armet, Drachen Armet. or if you really really want to switch to an item before you cast with Drachen Armet, Barone Zuchetto gives mass parrying skill. Dont need to heal if you parry alot. If you think it's good for soloing, sorry to be an *** but you're wrong. To do HB @50% you need to have Drachen Armet on, meaning you loose that 22 mp, and if you want haste use waldra turban then switch to Drachen armet.
PT:Optical hat gives more acc, or if you're like me and use haste build for TP gain Waldra Turban is hands down better. A drg will not need the acc with polearm merits and/or a Acc neck and a body with some acc(IE: AJ or if you really need the acc Scorpion Harness)

The ability to eat meat, and have haste gear?! Alot of builds don't allow you to have enough acc to eat meat, and have haste +%. This set is really good in that sense, has alot of acc and haste :D
once again blu's can use

heres the stats off full homam

DEF:146
HP:127
MP:127
Accuracy: +32
Haste: +12%
Magical Accuracy: +4
Ranged Accuracy: +6
Enimity: +3
Wyvern: +50HP
Enhances Triple attack (+5%)
Enhances Fast Cast Effect

Edit: Forgot to add Swift belt since it helps this amor alot. if you add it heres the change.

Accuracy: +35
Haste: +16%
Attack -5

The head seems best on DRK and PLD although magic acc isnt a big deal anyways, a THF might think O hat is better and in cetain situations O hat is, but understand that with this and Homam body youll have:

Accuracy +19
Haste +3%
HP +50
Triple Attack +5%

thats 1 less accuracy then the common Scorpion Harness/O hat combo, you lose all the evasion but merits can easily replace that.

For solo O hat is better, but for exp this is far better. and with the full set, youll never miss it (even with full set, im not sure what i would use for solo, O hat or this, when i get it ill see whats better, ill have +8 evasion skill with merits by then)

Now for the DRG plusses that you missed... again... >.>
This piece's usefullness isn't as strait forward as the other pieces, but they're still there.
The extra MP and added magic acc could be used to debuff the mob being soloed at the start.

During the fight, if in an Aht Urhgan area using sanction, this piece would allow the auto-refresh to give more mp during lulls in casting when the mob goes on a missing/intimidated/perried streak (17-18 more mp but if you end up having to recast something like protect or if you have to cast diaga to get rid of shadows that could help your mp stay up more easily).

It would also allow you to hit more to kill the mob faster as you don't need as much acc against t-vt mobs. I'm not sure how the reduction of recasts due to hate works, but if you don't have to have the haste gear on when you finish casting this would also help the recast.

This piece would probably be lowest priority in this set, but its usefullness for DRG is probably up there with pld and drk still but closer to equal. These things may not sound like much, but this piece could probably add 1-2 maybe even 3+ more mobs to a chain depending on the drg and the mob being fought.

all my post are for usefullness in endgame for the jobs who can equip them, not for the "abilty to solo as DRG/WHM", thats why i leave those things out

oh really... >.>

{Lie}

From what you posted under this, what I said is justified.

If you respond with annother blanket set of posts I will also point out that when you said your posts were reguarding end game it was just covering up the fact that you were wrong.

Here's the full post if he decides to change it as a cover up:

so glad you can quote me on everything i say since you cant seem to make any statements yourself. you didnt realize O hate gives 10 acc and 10 evasion, compared to this that gives only 4 acc no evasion. I included O hat cuz almsot every melee at 75 nowadays has O hat and would like to know whats better given that this head pieice is a situational item. also since that turban was released players wanna know if its even worth it to get the turban if they have this. it all depends on what other armor they have. You even said it yourself this is the least priority peice, since turban came out it isnt. but it will save you effort if you manage to get this first then turban

/sigh I guess I have to spell it out for you. I was saying that your blanket post was an invalid argument against my previous post because you discussed soloingin your first post on this page, and that my post remains valid and the quoting was to point it out and because you seem like the type of person who would edit out the stuff that shows that you're a lier and claim that I'm an idiot and am making stuff up and that you're not a lier.

Btw (sarcasm) wonderful job of making up something, yourself, when you replied to my posts with blanket posts. Also I think you have us confused... I'm the one who seems to have to spell things out for you not the other way around. Yes I know all about the turban and O. Hat.

That extra mp and Magic ACC will really help out my thf. I can barely wait.

Ohhh wait a minute it kills my evasion and not as good ACC for building up TP. I guess it's another lame item they attach THF to, to pretend thf's get a lot of gear.

You're aware that THF isn't the only job that can use this, right?

There's a reason there are two PLDs pictured wearing this in the screenshot...

You still get the body, hands, legs and feet. You might not want the body, I guess, if you have a SH, but I'll be damned if this armor isn't spiffy.

From what I've read about from people with Limbus experience:

You obtain the Homam Set by trading the peices of the body dropped of Proto-Omega when he is defeated to Wilhelm in Mhaura.

This particular piece requires Omega's Eye.

yep, its obtained by a NPC by trading an item obtained through limbus, as with all the pieces in the Homam set

Yes, it is. You trade the body parts of Proto-Omega to an npc in Mhuara and they give you the armor pieces.
How?

How do we get this armor?
