easy way to make wool cloth is kill giants in korroloka and use there socks with thunder crystles to make wool threads u can make up to 8 a synth i made lots of 4-8 and im lvl 30
I got a small, but decent number of wool cloth drops from the Haunts in Bostaunieux Oubliette, while camping for the Sewer Syrup (drops Jelly Ring), so most likely other high level ghost mobs will drop this as well.

The cloth is not sold by the merchants at the Clothcraft Guild in Windy. This is either wrong or it was recently changed to make Gobbiebag II harder. ><
I maxed out at lev 21 with yagudo fletchings. Next level is 31 and I fail miserably with wool cloth. Too expensive for failure. Any clues what to make at 21 to raise skill?
I went the route of wool *thread* (2 x wool clump, 1 lightning. Always craft on lightning's day) to bird fletchlings at 32, and insect fletchlings to 48 (stopped there because that's all I needed, but caps out at 52)

After a while of hunting all kinds of gobs, I ended up with something like:
9 grass cloths
9 grass threads
2 cotton cloths
2 cotton threads
Ghosts do drop cotton cloth quite often with Treasure Hunter
