Just to prove a few things here:

went out on my 75 BRD (no weapon equipped) just to punch crap with these on. I was kicking as well as punching, this proves that the legs increase FREQUENCY not DMG because I did not have the "kick attacks" trait on 75BRD/37MNK.

These increase frequency: Confirmed.

75Blm / 75SMN / 75BRD / 75THF

im pretty sure this doesnt up the rate that kick attks proc....if its the same as Melee Hose and Dune boots they just increase dmg. From what ive seen you get roughly +10 dmg for every +1 kick attack on your gear. but i can assure you I dont kick any more when wearing dune boots or melee hose than when i dont.

on the other hand you do kick for like 180 dmg with 300dmg crits...yes please, but actually in the end Byakkos boxers >>>>>> these, and are actually easier to get if you ask me, so these would be an ugly trophy piece i suppose.

melee hose and this are rate of kicks, not kick dmg, thats why melee hose + dune boots are a good combo if you dont have kitty panties + fumas

I Guess these will play the part of the ultimate kick attack leg combo. Increasing the frequency of your Kick attacks by 6%

Combine these with max KA merits & Dune boots.

Is it just me or does it say in description section Pup can wear? wouldnt these be sick on pup even with c hth? kick attacks + Woolong or other would be nice <.< gives us something besides punches <.< + /war <.< double atk....

if anyone wanders in here wondering if these will give you kick attacks, remember this: kick attacks accuracy and damage is based on h2h skill. soooo, if you wore these and you're not a monk, even if they gave kick attacks, your kicks would suck.

Only +% gives you the actual trait. +# just increases the frequency. Although it's probable if the trait is natural for your job +1% and +1 would both increase the frequency by 1%. Can anyone confirm if +% and +# work the same if you have the trait already?

For all those that think you'll get kick attacks, remember this - For kick attacks to Activate you have to be using 'Hand 2 Hand' weapons.
Nice piece for Monks, just ahead of the Melee hose (5%) for pure DD ability but for other jobs in most situations there pretty useless - maybe H2H users on certain lvls in Limbus will get minimul benefit out of them.

Yeah, I was wondering if anyone actually owned a pair of these and was able to parse them. On paper they don't look anything marginally fantastic, but I was curious if they could possibly have any hidden latent effect to them.

I really don't think they actually give you kick attacks. It's just an improvement on the ability if you have it (i.e. if you're a MNK)

Indra Katars give MNKs Triple Attack. And Tatami Shield gives all killer traits to all jobs that can use the shield. So take this Pants + Dune boots and a non MNK could still kick pretty hard I bet. I'll just stick with my melee hose though +6%HP +5Subtle Blow yes please. And they don't look goofy like these pants.

Hints Mnks get kick att at lvl 51. Sub max is 37 thus, no other job can kick but Mnks.

that's for the job trait of kick attacks, this is just giving you kick attacks, but of course only with H2H weapon
